1995 was the last good year. It’s all been shiite since then.

Because you know where the dude is second time watching.
I never laughed so hard watching Hangover for the first time. Took me 60 minutes longer to watch because of the rewinding and pausing because I laughed to hard.
Amercian Pie didnt do that for me.

I didn't drop the napalm
So glad I've seen neither, the trailers were a great clue, that's about it.
Buy popcorn.
Apocalypse Now was weird but it somehow summed up the whole Vietnam War. Troops sent thousands of miles to fight in a war that wasn't a direct threat to where they lived. They were openly provided with drugs, (marijuana) to relieve the pressures or improve their performance and make them feel invicible (LSD).
Possibly was the inspiration for the film Universal Soldier (with due deference to Bob Dylan).
