Yes that’s exactly what he’s saying.
If you go into the Premier League website and do the player comparison you’ll see he selected, probably the only passing stat that favoured Henderson and he still fiddled those numbers. He left out stats showing Pogbas passing created more chances and made more forward passes. Apparently Henderson’s really really good at just passing backwards and sideways. Passing forwards, isn’t a basic skill apparently.
