A friends father died due to COVID-19 and diabetes complications. He was in his 70s.

A colleague was tested positive for it, but had no great symptoms.

Oh, and a friend from the past had it, was in a coma for 3 weeks but has returned home now.

2 friends lost their dads. Another lost his grand mother.

Around about 15 clients of ours have died. About 600 out of 2500 clients had/have the virus.

My sister in laws parents have it. Both in their 50s. 2 weeks on they’re still very weak and short of breath. Thankfully they haven’t needed hospitalising

Your sister in laws parents? Wouldn’t that be your wife/husbands parents? Or have I had a moment

guy in my work had a cough for 4/5 days and was lethargic, lost weight cause he wasn't drinking or eating

never had a temperature above 36 the full time however

he noted the amount of times he coughed one day think it was 9 in 4/5 hours went to get tested the next day and got the results the day after

said the cough was dry and hurt his sides

Wife’s dad is in a care home and had it, managed to pull through.

What is interesting is me and the wife went to Tenerife in January and when we came back we both had the symptoms for around a week and it was awful but we didn’t take notice of the virus at that time.

Be interesting to see if we can be tested to see if we have had it.

Just did the covid test in Belfast Odyssey carpark, after 48 hours of fever, headaches, sore all over, pains in abdomen and no apetite.

Am asthmatic, but have no breathing issues or cough.

Just feel like I got a hangover and good kicking.

I had what I presume was the flu back in December. 2 weeks of flu symptoms followed by a bout bronchitis and then 3 weeks of an infection that attacked my ear nose and throat. Was prescribed antibiotics for the latter and was short of breath for a good 6 weeks after.

I do know Covid wasn’t supposed to be in the U.K. until the new year but it was the worst case of the flu I’ve ever had

Yes.

A pal from school's dad died of it after a month in ITU.

An former colleague was also in ITU for 3 weeks but recovered.. amazingly she is back at work in her care home helping out despite being nowhere near 100% fit.

Two of my sons and I think myself although it was very early on and didn't get tested (my sons did and it was positive).

I had a rough 2-3 weeks with practically every one of the symptoms.

Flu can be crippling

Worst bout I had of it had me in bed for 3 weeks. 3 weeks of on and off fever, no energy, struggled to stay hydrated, lost 1 and a half stone in weight.

Took me a further 3+ weeks to start feeling back to my usual self.. had remnants of the flu for those 3 weeks.

Horrible when you get floored with a bad dose and I was lucky I didn't have any complications given I'm asthmatic.

Yes

A few mates from my career of old. Early 40's. Recovered but said it was the most horrific fever they've ever had.

I reckon I had it as I had a dry cough that refused to go away for quite some time but that could just be paranoia.

However, I suspect this article was aimed at "proving" no one has actually had it but that is just nonsense.

There is also the possibility that we have all had it but differing symptoms. Would I want to be fine myself but give it to my granny? Absolutely not

Mine presented as difficulty catching a breath and a kind of tight sore chest. Was a bit scary.

Wifefrom lost her sense of smell which was the first indicator for us. Was surprised to hear small and taste just being recognized as symptoms in the UK recently.

It's posts like these and talking to people that makes me believe that the thing has been around for longer than we thought and many millions have been subjected to it with either mild-ish symptoms and put it down to a bug or something or who have had no symptoms at all.

A friend of Mrs Irish mother passed away from it in a nursing home.
I didnt know the woman directly myself but she is the only person that I am aware of having the virus.

That said I may have already had it with no symptoms along with Mrs and little Irish, I dont know.
