still not having it Silver

Well, it is why I put question marks against the points I made because it would not surprise me if there was an international campaign of pressure being applied on the Chinese to come clean but I think I read that most countries were retrospectively going back to samples from unexplained respiratory deaths and analysing and the number of people required to be 'on message' of such a large exercise would make the conspiracy difficult?

Ditto the cellphone network analysis - I think it was public domain info available to the operators and nobody afaik has come up with an explanation? Conclusive, no. Conspiracy, who knows?

Two of my sons and I think myself although it was very early on and didn't get tested (my sons did and it was positive).

I had a rough 2-3 weeks with practically every one of the symptoms.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I had a similar experience with all the symptoms. Went to the International Builders Show in Vegas around late Jan and must have shook hands with hundreds of vendors, half of which seemed to be Chinese.

Had a scratchy dry throat for a week with a cough I couldn’t get rid of. Moved into 4-5 days of heavy fever, night sweats, body ache and major fatigue. The cough made breathing difficult. Haven’t had a test.

Really?

I'm not so sure about that.

I'm no expert mind but reports indicate it was here long before being officially recognised don't they?

surely if it had been around for that long we'd of seen much more cases/deaths if it's so contagious

There was a westerner working in China (possibly Wuhan itself) who is recorded to have contracted it in October.

4 family members of mine have had it, and all now fully recovered. It is my cousin, who is a consultant at one of the big Glasgow hospitals, caught it while treating patients on a covid Ward. He then inadvertently passed it on to his wife and two young children. Because of his role he and his family were able to be tested so diagnosis was confirmed. We’re really lucky that they’re all now doing well

So you're the smelly basturd in the stands 😂

thats one of the worst things about it, I never left the house for weeks only time I did was to go to the docs, showered twice and day and hardly ate anything and you still wonder if you're a smelly coont
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Tbf I'm like that if I go out and sweat just a wee bit, even after a shower and brushing my teeth.. paranoid that I'm hoaching of B.O and my breath is reeking despite knowing that's no true.

Can only imagine what it's like when you've no sense of smell

my pals mrs had it, she got it bad but the rest of the house was fine

my wife is certain she had it at christmas, she was utterly buggered.

data doesnt support it though, when we knew it was taking off the inspection spread in a hurry
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's already been a couple of mutations identified by their genetic markers.. could be possible that a lesser strain was doing the rounds initially (as there's evidence of a mutation that possibly originated in the UK from January), and the one that's killing people is a more virulent strain.

It's why I'm certain there will be a second, far more deadly strain doing the rounds in a couple of/few months time.

Either that or it'll fizzle out

Me, my maw and da all had symptoms around 2 months ago.

I was absolutely fooked, not sure if it was that or if it was just the flu. I was out and about a good bit just before it all started which probably wasnt the smartest idea.

As for people who have definetely had it, i only know of it happening to people through people. Two died, one in his 50s and one in his 70s.

Never known anyone under 30 to have it, unless i did
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes I had flu like symptoms about two months ago that lasted about a week, I thought it was Covid-19, but after speaking to the NHS they said the fact I didn't have a high temperature or cough that it wasn't covid-19.

The only definite way of knowing is obviously to get tested.

Yes

A few mates from my career of old. Early 40's. Recovered but said it was the most horrific fever they've ever had.

I reckon I had it as I had a dry cough that refused to go away for quite some time but that could just be paranoia.

However, I suspect this article was aimed at "proving" no one has actually had it but that is just nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You suspect wrong.
