Well I think the idea behind Campos is that he’s proven to be successful working on a budget.
That doesn’t mean it will directly translate to working for Spurs, in the premier league, of course. But I’d have more faith in him working within the Spurs model than others without the experience, or success.
But then it also comes back to Mourinho. No good having a director of football that thrives picking up cheap, young players it the manager has no ability, or interest, in developing them.
