CS, that time a few months back when I was over he already been offered the SFA place but they were unsure and hoping Celtic would offer a place.. I presume he`ll be snapping that offer up now if he hasn't already done so

I'll tell you another shocker. Hickey was catchment area for Jordanhill and at the primary. The beak there said if he was going to play football at Celtic he didn't want him at the school not giving his all academically dragging the stats down. Complete cvnt.

Quite!

Though if that is his primary performance metric then blame the governors?

Although my lad was private just a few hundred yards away they could not have been more accommodating about the challenge and he came out with a storming set of results.

Dunno tbh, surely if he is in that position he has a bit of clout and could argue the case if needed.. Though a lot of these guys nowadays are not in it for what they can do for the kids but what they can gain for themselves.

Well done Silver jnr btw

Barry

Nowt worse than an auld kvnt girning 'bout poverty eh?

I couldn't have wished for a better childhood mid 50's.

It was full of people & folk & humour helping each other.

And when I got to what Miller would call 'the whanking times', Celtic

became the 1st team in North Europe to win the European Cup.

Ahhhhh!

Both my grandfathers had mad professor hair like Einstein, Miller. It's not all wine and roses.

And that's another of those clandestine choppers just flown over into GLA.

Zico, they already tried to get Hickey back last summer but I think it was more McCart concerned that he'd be asked difficult questions if he ever went full Andy Robertson?

Hickey is a tim, no mistake. That won't sway him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficult questions..?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hickey could barely get on the park at U16, mate.

Now, a lot behind the scenes I won't put here but nevertheless he asked away. They still talk about Andy Robertson. They talk also a lot about Forrest & KT. One is hushed tones.

I was just kidding man..

My folks always spoke fondly of their childhoods, they were both born late 30s and they had nothing but they maintained that everyone around them had nothing yet they had great community and fun with people helping each other out etc..

Quinny. probably a stupid question but with the lions do you think was it appreciated at the time what they achieved?

She is almost 7km away. My legal limit is 5km. A couple of weeks back it was only 2km so became a pain and a bit of an adventure breaking the rules the odd night.. once it was extended to 5 I was over there straightaway.. novelty has worn off now and most days I pretend there is a checkpoint
