The measures were put in place to protect people’s health and the NHS, if you agree that these measures work and you’ve still broken them, you’re not much better than Cummings - admittedly somebody in his position should be leading by example.
But apparently he hasn't broken them, thats the most galling part, if the government had come and said he was in the wrong and relieved him of this position, it would have blown over by now, but they bent over backwards and said that the rules weren't what they said in every press release and daily conference.
Apparently there's now 20 (twenty) Tory MPs calling for Cummings to either resign, or be sacked.
If he survives this, it'll weaken Johnson's position even further, as it becomes clear who's really running the country.
In some ways this is now a win win for Labour.

Boris isn’t up to the job. Cummings makes it possible for Boris to do his job. Without Cummings, Boris is unable to do his job. Boris needs Cummings.
Boris will resign before Cummings does.
Matt Hancock has come out and defended Cummings. Matt Hancock knows that without Boris and Cummings, he is incapable of doing his job.
Hancock himself would resign before Cummings would. Hancock however would not resign if Boris does. Hancock knows that he can’t do his job without Cummings.
They are all in this for themselves. They are protecting Cummings in order to protect themselves.
These are not the kind of people I want running this country.
The Tory party will implode. Labour have won the next election whenever it takes place.

Over here we have Joe Biden (who may have Alzheimers) but is our alternative to the orange-haired baboon.
Biden says he's going to choose a female vice-presidential candidate. Not yet known.
