Bojo has just confirmed that he has let Cummings off the hook. He may come to regret that. Like Nicola Sturgeon, he may come under pressure to accept the wrong doing and get shot of Cummings. Acting with integrity but above the law is ok then? What kind of message is this sending out to millions of people who have stayed at home and isolated themselves from families who need support? The worst thing about this case is that on the day the police investigated the incident 31st march was the day the 13 years old boy died on his own because he couldn't be allowed family.
Hancock saying he was moved to tears by the case but it reinforces the importance of sticking to these measures. By defending Cummings they are just showing how much they didn't care at all.
Slap in the face to that boys family. Everyone who hasn't been able to visit a sick relative (even non covid) or go to a funeral.
The other 2 at least admitted instantly they were wrong and probably did regret their actions.
