Well considering 50% of all deaths have been in care homes and 45% have been in hospitals (25% of which was caught via hospitals), yes lockdown has been pretty pointless. Even more so has 92% of people that have sadly died have been over 60. Should of sheltered the old, kept up the regular advice of increased hand washing and distancing and would have had exactly the same effext

I don't make the numbers. I just post FACTS. You choose to ignore them.
1,100 in just three days last week is an astonishingly high number of deaths, considering the country has been in lockdown for three months, however you care to dress it up.
Sandy, to be honest you need to take consideration that a vast majority of these deaths are in care homes. Now, this is no means justifying the deaths, but lockdown or not, these deaths would of been bad regardless because the care homes are where people seem to be spreading it quickly. The deaths in general are coming massively down from 3 weeks ago. Check the graphs mate, we are on the decline. We are heading in the right direction and will continue to do so

Death rates and infection rates as well as hospital beds being used are falling by over 10% every week now
That’s why we are easing things.

Like you pretend not to remember that lockdown was brought in quite rightly to reduce the infections to a place we believed we could cope.
So again it’s nothing but posturing. As others have said just stay in if you’re worried. I’ll go out like many millions of others and comply with the guidelines.

1,100 in just three days last week is an astonishingly high number of deaths, considering the country has been in lockdown for three months, however you care to dress it up.

Sandy, to be honest you need to take consideration that a vast majority of these deaths are in care homes. Now, this is no means justifying the deaths, but lockdown or not, these deaths would of been bad regardless because the care homes are where people seem to be spreading it quickly. The deaths in general are coming massively down from 3 weeks ago. Check the graphs mate, we are on the decline. We are heading in the right direction and will continue to do so
