I’ve been watching Facebook live videos keeping up to date with the protests. There has been a lot of non black support

What I did see in one video in Kansas City (i could be wrong I’ve watched so many) was a white man being booed off of a mic and heckled “you don’t understand”.

I’ve also witnessed plenty of looting. One man confronted a woman asking how this was helping George Floyd. Her response, “I don’t know who that is”

When I, a simple member of the public can find examples as above then the media will have a field day digging deeper and making what is a legitimate protest look like nothing but a bunch of thugs and looters

For England senior white players like Kane, Hendo and Maguire have been quite vocal

Racism in football in this country is getting worse each season

In what respect?

I agree their silence is strange. Normally, as you say, all over this with throwaway comments and hashtags but nothing on this.

Weird article. It would seem all of Hollywood and the music world etc is speaking out about this. It’s a huge media movement right now.

About an hour or so back a post from BBC Music came up on my timeline in which Greg James spoke out about how racism is everybody's problem, and that what's going on in the US shouldn't just be considered something that's going on a long way away.

Now admittedly I had to Google James to make sure he was who I thought he was... non-black, presenter of the Breakfast show.

So yeah, more probably could be said by some of us terrible white guys, but to say there's a 'lack of non black people speaking out' is hardly helpful, is it.

Can everyone please stop speaking out in support of famous white people speaking out in support of non-famous non-white people!

OP's having a 'mare here.

I think plenty of people will speak out if the agenda is moved away from being aligned with movements that are themselves racist. The human race is the only thing that matters.

Then why does it take for an even like this for non blacks to speak out? Now credit due for speaking out, but it’s easy to say this is now in ‘fashion’. Once all this hype dies down, let’s see who still believes in the cause through their actions.

I've seen more than enough non Black's speaking out about this. They're all over the place from what I've seen over the last few days. Even the protesters are a mix of colours. The rioters too.

Ah well that’s a different thing entirely. Whether we like it or not, most people’s lives are influenced by the mass media. That’s why we’ll all be bombarded by a certain news story that’ll last a few weeks, sometimes months, until we’re all utterly fatigued from hearing about it, and then that’ll be it. you’ll not hear about ever again. And then one day you’ll be having a coffee and it’ll suddenly pop into your head and you’ll think to yourself... ‘whatever happened to/about [insert subject here]’.

So if you want to blame anyone for not keeping this issue out there for discussion, blame the rich white guys that control the mass media. Think you’ll find most ordinary white folk hate them too though tbh.

Don't disagree with you in this one OP. But going to ask a question I'd be interested in your opinion on. Do you think a Muslim is wrong if they don't speak out against terrorism?

What’s that got to do with anything? Should every German have to apologise for hitler?

You'll hear about it until November 12th, then after that date you won't hear a word, this was the main complaint from BLM founder Hawk Newsome, as soon as the elections finished the media wasn't interested in hearing from them again.

In 1989 we thought China were terrible for what thry did in Tiananmen square.

Today in the so call land of the free the authorities there are on the brink of similar and their leader is ranting in his office about rolling out troops and hammering the streets.

Their leader is a narcissistic sociopath, who’s not set one foot in the real world his whole life. He doesn’t give a monkeys about the American people.

Looks like you’ve already moved the goalposts, lots of people have been vocal over the years, I’m an nba fan and several of the white players have etc. Just because you don’t hear about it does not mean it’s true.
You sound like you’d have a go at someone not donating to charity when in reality they could have done it without you knowing.
