Most Clutch Goals

Both Sheringham and Solskjaers goals in the ‘99 final were clutch goals, as they both had to be scored in order to win the game as there would be unlikely be any other chances to score.

Clutch doesn’t just have to be one singular event, it is coming up with the goods in the most important moments, when there probably won’t be another chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

United would have still had the 30 mins overtime, even if Solsjkaer missed.

It's still clutch but the true meaning of clutch is a do-or-die type moment.

You said Ramos’ equaliser was the most clutch goal you’ve ever seen...

So this is a thread of most important injury time goals?
Dzeko v QPR is more "clutch" than Agueros I am guessing, because Aguero couldnt have scored the winner without an equaliser?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

How did I forget the Aguero goal?

No, in that case Aguero's goal was more clutch (slightly, both were hugely clutch), because City needed all 3 points to win the title, hence needed both goals. Aguero's was more clutch because it was literally the last kick.

It literally wasn’t

Not entirely true, clutch can be a game winner in the 60th minute if that’s the only chance in the game.

Sheringham brought us back into the game with minutes left, clutch.

Solskjaer scored the winner with barely anytime left on the clock just after, clutch.

Clutch doesn’t just have to be one person.

Steph Curry could hit a clutch 3 pointer to take Golden State up by 1 point with 1 second on the clock. Kyrie Irving could then to down the other end to hit a clutch 2 pointer to win by 1 with a buzzer beater. Both would be considered clutch moments.

Yeah because they were 0-1 down in the 93rd min, vs their City rivals in a UCL Final, and if he didn't score La Decima was up in smoke.

Obviously Real then dominated in overtime but none of that would have been possible without El Capitan nailing that header.

And United had the treble on the line, and denied Bayern of one. Both goals > Ramos.

We'll debate the meaning of clutch. Reckon we could get at least ten pages out of it.
