Police have made a rod for their own back by doing naff all in Bristol.
Its inevitable that if certain folk don't trust our law enforcers to look after this countries statues and monuments they will try and do it themselves.
If they try to protect stuff they'll be deemed so

So let's get this straight.
Firstly, statues should not be pulled down. Protests should follow due process and the removal of statues should be applied for in the correct manner.
Also, statues should be protected. We should not appeal to the authorities to protect those statues through due process, we should get out there and do it ourselves.
