I sat next to Gary Lineker on a flight from Nantes to Gatwick. Didn't ask for his autograph or even speak to him as he led that bunch of cheats who took over Leicester, ran away from their debts and started up again as if nothing had happened.
I walked past Gary Lineker at Royal Dornoch Golf Club. I might have said good morning or I might have just nodded, can't remember. I looked back to see him play his second shot to the fifth green and he duffed it.
Actually he seemed like a decent bloke as he gave autographs to all who asked him without any complaint.

Did you pretend to be his dad, (how big are your ears BTW)?
You have met me so you know how big my ears are and as Lineker is not that much younger than me I could hardly pretend to be his dad.
I was sitting near Michael Atherton on a flight to the cricket world cup. We discreetly acknowledged one another and did not exchange autographs.

Did you have any soil in your pockets though?
Oddly enough I do always carry a small piece of peat with me on my travels. Just a reminder of home. And for fires in an emergency situation.
In case anyone thinks that Sibley is bound for a great future, the youngest player to score a hat trick for Derby was Andy Garner, much maligned assistant to Nigel Clough. Let's hope for a better future for Louie.
Its a lottery really. Our last great thing was Will Hughes. Doing well but not perhaps the stellar career we had envisaged?

Hey View, who's was the most expensive autograph you nabbed after the £999,999 one?

Andy Garner, Andy Garner, na na na na na.

🤣
Derek Nimmo would have been a better buy.
Watching City v Burnley. Much mention of Burnley players out of contract. Jeff Hendrick anyone?
Yeah, we’re a bit light in midfield.
Is he getting much game time (in normal times)
Virtually every week 3R. I think there is going to be a lot of negotiation for players out of contract. The game has lost a lot of revenue so clubs will be offering worse conditions. Agents will be trying for better but the players aren't in the strong position they were before lockdown.
