I think once he fills out a bit more we’ll see him use his pace better when taking players on as well.

------------------------------------------

Apparently he's put on 3 kg of muscle during lockdown.

Mourinho hasn’t had his hands on him long enough to turn him into an auxiliary full back yet.

True, although from what I’ve seen of him he looks like he has such an engine.

Couple times he covered aurier, won the ball back, played it then sprinted up the touch line into the front 3.

He could be Jose’s perfect footballer if he can do that

I thought Bruno was pretty average, still don’t get the hype. Just a FIFA player who shoots on sight, a glorified Darron Gibson.

Do you really think that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, his general play is very limited.

I can see why OGS didn't start both of them, Especially Pogba, Because he's been out for most of the season, But I hope he plays them both now until the end of the season.

To be fair to Ole, I don't think it would have set a good precedent to immediately bring Pogba in when Fred & McTominay have been fit all/most season and playing reasonably well.

--------------------------------------------

It may seem harsh but when you've got a much better option available, you play him. It's as simple as that for me.

As I said though, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, it's not as simple as that. Before lockdown we were on a run and looking à team. It sends the wrong message to just drop someone. And it's as though Pogba had done anything to endear himself and get an immediate start.
Ole got it right.

And yet no one has, or would, make the same argument about Rashford. I understand that the midfield two/three is more of a unit than the front 3, but rashford was also missing during our best spell of this season, yet i haven't seen a single person say that he needs to earn a recall/play his way back into the team.

so i hope that when everyone is fully fit ole can find a way to make it work, because we get almost no creativity from our full-backs, so we sure need a bit in midfield.

It really is.

You would say that though because he never does anything wrong as far as you're concerned.

McTominay and Fred have both had decent seasons but last night the weaknesses in their game were there for everyone to see.

You play your best players when you can.

I'll say again though I'll give Ole the benefit of the doubt.

He’s dropped Matic.
