Big Dunc seems very happy since he moved there, can't see him coming back.

Dunc is in the big fish pond and would not chuck that.

Neilson possibly looked at long tern potential and / or transfer kitty.

Budge is getting £3m a year from her benefactor.

Ivan is a good shout if you want an influx of Argies.

The problem is once you bring them in you can't get rid of them

Tendency to over think this

Company offer guy more money and/or a longer contract than his current employer

How many don’t take it ?

It’s a no brainer

He won’t manage 4 games v Hamilton instead he will manage against Falkirk

And in doing so will secure a better living for him and his family
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Agree with all of that apart from the Falkirk bit since they missed out on promotion

Alex McLeish, Stuart McCall, John Hughes and Lee McCulloch. Out of that lot Stuart McCall but is he not Bradford manager? Lee McCulloch is another Largs duffer if you ask me. Sh!te at Killie and what United were like under Neilson, no thanks.

Big Dunc, Badger and no doubt that pr!ck Pressley will be another mentioned. Loved Big Dunc and Badger don't want them to tarnish their reputations like Brewster and Mixu have done. As for Pressley that greasey gadgie can sod off. Our record signing, signs for Hearts for free then a number of years ago says the United job is not big enough for him. He's right their he has an ego that big he is full of himself. Let him just concentrate on being a landlord.

Alan Curbishley, Jocky Scott and Alan Kernaghan being linked now. Thought Jocky lived over in Oz or is it just his son?

If he has to watch games like the Merseyside derby regularly then he'll be scratching at the doors at Tannadice to let him in.

<Some gall from Budge a few days after serving papers on us to stop our promotion.>

Sheer coincidence I'm sure.

Not.

Well Neilson got us promoted by default. Hehe got to have a laugh at what could follow possibly. If he signs more Adam Kings for Hearts and say The Dees or ICT pip them to the title. He'll be cheering to get to penalty shoot-outs.

Osman Sow is looking for another club...... Hopefully he comes and signs Pawlett, McMullan and the said Adam King.

This. It's going to be a financial decision, above all else

Can’t believe the downer on this guy
He got Utd promoted at a canter

Well actually I can believe it

It’s what football fans do

Only read the OP and last 4/5 posts.

Didn't know he'd been getting it tight on the thread as a whole.

Reading it now.

If it weren't for Covid-19 I think we would have been caught by ICT. His football was God all awful. We should have had the league won ages ago. Yet it was still mathematically possible to be caught and as I said earlier in the post we probably would have been.

Peter Hoston is being mentioned. Loved his football style, but to say he could spot a player? I give you Brian McLean, Richie Ryan & Pavels Myhadjuks. He did well with what he inherited but left to him the recruitment of players was on a downward trend.

Neilson and his family are pretty well settled in the West End of Glasgow. He drove every day to Dundee.

That would depress most people enough to take the Hearts job😂

Mind you do United not train at St Andrews?

That’s not so bad....

Imagine every day driving to a city as culturally rich as Dundee, knowing you have to go back to sodding Glasgow at the end of it. Would suck the will out of the best of men.

Had forgot to log off and just caught that.

Bit of an open goal there tho with the 'Would suck the will out of the

best of men.'

Just missing a consonant.
