Dykes was bang average in the Championship.

Then had a wee run of form in the Premiership and you're blowing £1m on him

And he clearly isn't a right winger.

It has been since he moved into the main centre forward position that he has kicked on.

I would definitely take him as an option.

In all the games I saw him in he never once stood out.


And to be frank I'm not sure Rangers fans are in the best position to be mocking our extended stay in the lower divisions.

IMO, he's a decent option. Reasonable turn of pace, good presence about him, has an eye for goal. Definitely an upgrade on his predecessors like Kamberi, o'halloran, lafferty, etc.
