I don’t think we learned anything last night that we didn’t already know.
City were very good going forward and took their chances. We created a lot of our own and didn’t, were miles off our usual clinical nature.
Fact is we did create those chances though, pretty easily as well. I doubt the top European sides will be as forgiving in a pressure knockout CL tie. I think they’ll come up short in that competition but we’ll see.
Probably win the FA cup but no guarantees in that either.

If Ederson was injured in the CL, City would go out to Real Madrid and if Allison was fit against Atleti, we would have gone through.
This is easy.

Reaching a bit. Alisson was missed at Anfield but i think it was problems at the other end of the pitch that cost you in Madrid.
We controlled the game against Real, although granted with Bravo in anything is possible!

That’s irrelevant on the pitch though isn’t it.
There’s not much you can do about someone picking up a long term injury it’s just bad luck. The cover coming in will never be as strong, and in our case was miles off.

Well both of them were great, particularly for the first half, in the season we got the 100 points. Stones hasn’t been the same since, mainly due to off field issues, though.
It’s Stones and Kompany that need replacing. Hopefully Garcia is one of them covered, there’s still a gap for the other though.

I don’t think we do only have one decent one. We’ve only got one excellent one, one that should have been excellent and one decent one.
The issue for us is as much the system when it comes to evaluating defenders though. It’s more complex than some think and some great defenders could look absolutely awful for us depending on what people are judging them.

I’m not really sure what your point is tbh. I know why the club have spent on the department, still doesn’t mean you don’t miss your best one when their out, that’s kind of the point of buying them in the first place
