Tbf to McTominay, I think he’s more useful as a squad player because he doesn’t need lots of games to find his rhythm.
I said that the break came at the wrong time for Fred and it’s proving to be the case since we came back and he’s gone back to shiiiiiit again.

That's one of the glaring differences between McTominay and Fred.
We can't afford to wait for Fred to find his way again.

i will like to be wrong but I predict fred will get back to being the poor player he is, minus the early part of last season where he looked one of the better of a terrible bunch and people were falling over themselves to praise him.

Come on lads don’t forget how good Fred was before lockdown. He’s not the best MF we’ve ever had but he’s had a very good season

At the time, he looked liked a good buy, even if the fee was excessive. But again, when it involves trying to implement a player into our squad, that's a whole different story.
That goal was so quiet i didn't realise we scored!
