Spot on mate some amazing nights in the CL far superior to winning a crappy league cup playing hoof ball.
Add in the Dortmund, Madrid, Juventus, Barca games. I never thought I would see Spurs go toe to toe with these giants of European football especially after having a season ticket through the dark days of the 90's. Loved the football we played and hope to see it again soon once the stadium dividend starts kicking in (eventually) and everything settles down. I'm not mentioning the current or previous manager

His attitude changed after the Champions League loss. Most of us saw this. Rumours of him not travelling with the team etc.
I think as he looks back we will also accept he lost some professionalism this season and this ultimately filtered down to the team.

I agree with this statement. It was hard to witness, but there's no denying he threw his toys out the pram after the final. We can debate forever how valid it was, but it was not how an experienced manager would handle the situation. It divided the players and fanbase as to who was on his side and who was with the club. Obviously the regulars loved him, but it's worth noting that Toby only signed a new deal as soon as we hired Jose.
I'm not sure how or what he'll learn if he doesn't go elsewhere before returning to the club, though. But will he harbour the same resentment toward Levy? Will he sulk it off if we don't get the next big name he wants? Maybe once the wounds have healed, if he wins a trophy and we do in the meantime it would take the pressure off any return.
