Ole`s got the refs in his pocket, it makes a big difference.

Thanks for taking Mourinho off us

Those of us who advocated giving Solskjaer more time to execute his plans before judging him were given some encouragement by little signs of progress here and there. We didn't have consistency in the first part of the season but we did have some matches where it looked as though we were moving in the right direction. We hadn't been particularly bad before the Burnely game but that poor performance seemed damning to some because it seemed like yet another two steps back. Some of the encouraging performances and results this season came before Fernandes arrived, and also in the absence of key injured players.

Of course we don't know how far Ole can take us, but I still have the sense we're moving in the right direction. And I'm enjoying watching United more than I have at any time since May 2013.

It's been a lovely change of form for this club since January. Obviously still a lot of work to be done. But we are moving in the right steps and most importantly in the right manner.

Really hope we get Sancho, even if it'll be costly. Because our right side has been weak for too long. He's a player who would compliment the ideas that Ole is trying.

Just so refreshing to see attacking football on a more consistent level.

Hopefully Ed can get some decent business done in the next window. Sancho would be brilliant.

He would mate. I think it may turn into one those tradtional drawn out sagas, but i'm sure if we do go in for him then Ole will want it sorted as early as possible. That's if we do proceed.

We can not be ignorant of the negative effects that the pandemic has caused in the football world. It's testing times to see if the Glazers will still back us handsomely even during our rise in performance fortunes.

If we're desperate for a winger (which we are), but with no backup options to sancho, then it could be just like the Maguire saga.

There are other options, but none as fitting (or as expensive) as Sancho. And i genuinely think that both Ole and Ed want this deal to happen. But have a feeling that Dortmund will try to play hardball/prolong the milking of possible extra value added onto the deal.

He's the perfect fit. Dortmund know this and will make us pay their asking price.

Everyone keeps saying about how far Ole can take, we'll it's the top. Subject to the board backing him to a reasonable degree, and his fair share of luck. He's not the man to back off, be nervous., if things are going well.

posted on 1/7/20

And Ed will play hard ball, only to pay their asking price two months later.

Adding to what i mentioned earlier about the pandemic effects. It could also mean that Dortmund may not be able to play around and begrudgingly take the offer. But to an extent i think that they will hold up the deal until it's time.

On Sancho I really wouldn’t mind if we didn’t even negotiate. He is such a perfect match for what we need and what we’ve needed for so long. He may not work out, but I’m more than happy for them to spend £100m to find out.

We are all happy if it's a billion, but we are only a football club losing money, if we were owners we would blink at a record fee for somebody who is not world class.

Yes it’s not my money it’s the club’s money but I did say £100m. If that’s their asking price then I think it’s worth it. A billion yes is a different matter.
He’s it’s a record fee but he’s young and his record over the past 18 months is top notch.
World class? Different debate but it’s arguable based on the past 18 months

‘Such a perfect match’

You forgot ‘seemingly‘ in that sentence.. we don’t know if he is or not at this stage. Chances are he’ll do Very well, and fit nicely but we wouldn’t be signing Messi here, so hyperbole doesn’t Help..

It generally makes me uncomfortable when the club over spend on players and I think it damages the club long term.

What I was trying to say was its
£100 million pounds, think of that.
Wigan, Bury bust. Hardly any money coming in during the lockdown. That's two Brunos.
He better fecking good.

He’s a good, very promising player, but hes also playing in a team set up to suit him perfectly.

100m is too much imo, others will disagree, but that’s the madness of footy these days, you pay a premium for hype a lot of the time and this kid is top of the tree for it, but he’s also talented. I’m sure he’ll do Very well if we get him.

It’s a lot of money, but he’s one of the very best players in his position in world football. A position we are in desperate need of addressing, 52.

I did say that he may not work out and as for a perfect match, I think he is. Young, English, skilful, productive, RWF, assists and goals. Doesn’t mean he will work out if he comes but he ticks every box that we would want, no?
