Watching City Liverpool at the minute - it's mad to see teams with players sprinting, playing high-speed football, legging it around off the ball to give the ball carrier options

Genuinely can't remember the last time I saw a Spurs team playing at a jog, let alone a run
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Our final season at the Lane. Some of the football we played was breathtaking.

A home record of 17 wins 2 draws

----------------------------------------------------------------------

And won nothing. That was Spurs chance and they and the manager bottled it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
wow. you sure it was football you've been watching all these years. you don't seem to know too much about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't want tippy tappy nonsense that wins nothing.

The tippy tappy side I saw win the double, 60 years back also had some truly hard men in the side to complement the tippy tappy guys.

Pretty sure levy knows Jose is a fraud now.

But he'll wait until we've got 10 points from 10 games next season until sacking him.

Next season is also a complete write off I'm afraid.

No way do they fire Mourinho, he'll get a fresh slate in time for next season. Whether he should or not is a different question though.

Someone in charge of the adverts has a good sense of humour. They just played the Paddy Power ad with Mourinho talking about being "special".

See I'm not sure about this anymore.

I too want Spurs to win things and I thought (not willing to rule out the possibility) that at least Mourinho might provide trophies. The problem is that under Poch (for all his failings) I loved watching Tottenham and felt closer to the team than I ever have - I just don't have that feeling right now.

Of course I'll support the team and get behind the manager but I can't pretend I care as much right now

You can bring in joint managers klopp, Poch, Guardiola and they won’t be able to get these caants to play football. Levy won’t sanction a £200 mill spend to fix our defense like Guardiola did or funding for a top defender like pool did . If Our fans think changing managers is going to change our fortunes they are seriously deluded.
Poch back? He lost his USP by stopping our pressing game. We more or less regressed since . No away wins in almost a year but our fans Give Mourinho hell and want Poch back

Until we get our scouting right and they realise today’s modern player requires good energy, physicality combined with strong ball Playing ability we will always be also rans .
Our scouting team should be revamped and the incumbents sacked . We have paid £35mill combined for Sess and Clarke and they are no where to be seen. Faacking joke!!

Mourinho currently has the worst win percentage of any of his clubs in his career.

Bare in mind he managed Uniao de Leiria.

We have to give Mourinho some time and a chance to bring in some new players, only then can we judge him.

Our problem will be Levy and his lack of real ambition, Mourinho won`t get the players he wants, which will ultimately be his downfall.

Rinse and repeat with another manager.

I still don’t think Mourinho is the issue here. The issue is and has always been the great big bald one and Co.

Ian Dowie

In March 2016, Dowie was employed as Regional Sales Manager for "Go To Surveys".

I don’t even know who they are

posted on 3/7/20

I only know who they are because Mourinho managed them. They were his second club, after Benfica. They are a small club and Mourinho had them doing really well in the league and above Porto, so Porto gave Mourinho a job half way through the season.

He had a win percentage of 45% from 20 games. With Spurs it’s 41% after 29. Shows how far his star has fallen.

Some of the comments made in early July are hilarious. Since the lockdown was lifted, Prem form was like Top Four.

Not a peep now from the Jose out brigade. Are you sure any of you know much about the game? Kneejerk nonsense seems to be the order of the day.
