We don`t have a big club mentality, that comes right down from the top, and it filters down to the players.
The perception throughout the media, PL and FA is also one of a set up that does not operate as a big club.
A prime example is the appointment of Hugo Lloris as captain, while many on here dispute that the captain has any imput, I can only see Lloris as having no influence at all, definitely not a leader
We let these rubbishy players we have linger around the team too long because Levy has a hard on for saving money. Any other big team would just get rid and try and replace with quality to move us forward.
You can't be a big club with a small club mentality. There was a moment a few seasons ago that Spurs could have made that step up but didn't. Its coming back to haunt them as they now have to restart all over. While clubs like United and Chelsea were in disarray, it would have been the perfect time to consolidate and then make a title challenge. Liverpool did what had to be done. Levy and staff didn't. Now United and Chelsea seem to have gotten their act together and will be stronger. Chelsea already made 2 signings for next season. United looking at Sancho. Arsenal haven't managed to get their things in order yet. So there is that for spurs fans.
Thing is why do we have to be a "big club" to not be mentally weak? If you are a professional footballer you shouldn't be weak. Are west ham a big club ffs? Lol
The VAR decision yesterday had nothing to do with our collapse IMO.
The bantz of being bottlers seems to have been taken to heart by the players.
That needs to be removed ASAP, whatever it takes.

Complete change of personnel and mentality needed at the club.
A complete change is needed starting with manager.

Most of us have known this for the last season and half, but it wont change unless Levy spends money and he will only do that after he has sold players, so what players do we have that are sellable Kane, Son, Delle will all have to go before Levy opens the wallet, and then who does he bring in expect another mixed bag of misfits, doubt Maurinho will have much of a say going on previous transfer windows, so don't expect the situation to change in the foreseeable future
