Be under no illusions doggies. This team bears no resemblance to the other two you've played this season.
We are the form team. No-one has picked up more points since the turn of the year so we are no flash in the pan.
We will be favourites to win and I fully expect us too do just that.
When we beat you you'll start looking over your shoulder so this means more to you that us.
We never expected this so everything is a bonus but you lot have everything to lose.

You're desperate to make it this term as the league has been very ordinary which has allowed a side as pants as Forest to make it to the playoff zone.
So you need to take advantage before returning to your normal utter arseness next season.
Pressure is on.

If it’s been sooooo ordinary, what’s your excuse for your ‘successful’ and ‘amazing’ season so far?

😂

Even ‘IF’ we lose, we’re effectively still 2 wins ahead of you

Mind the gap 😂😂😂

We all know form means sweet nothing in ‘el cloughico’. Derby are gonna crumple under the pressure that the red dogs could end their season with only a draw.

Grabban to bag forests only attempt on target, samba sh!thousery to take up the whole weekend, and Watson to pocket Shrek for 105 minutes, becoming the new media darling of the championship,

Brilliant Forest game plan. Stop Rooney.

Why didn't all the other clubs we've played since January think of that?

Answer- They all did- Result, best points haul of any club.

Thing is if you don't try and stop him you get spanked anyway. You literally can't win.

Got me there, reading my name back to me. Even bogle can hit a pass back harder than that.

And looking at the dcfc timeline, didn’t think derby had any other players. Even derby coverage is one dimensional. When everyone one of our squad would run through a wall for sabri, derby will be an easy substitute.

Shame we aren’t aren’t gonna have the annual keogh crying on tele.

Nice balanced respectful thread Rev

We have beaten Fulham and Brentford away and Drawn at Leeds and WBA. Our ability to go to good teams and do well is there for all too see!

I wonder if Derby’s good form is partly due to them not playing anyone in the top 6 yet....... who knows

I think the score tomorrow could depend on whether Lolley starts or not. If he does it gives a greater attacking threat which I think they will struggle to cope with. If not maybe Sabri will spring a surprise and start with Alex Mighten. Him or da Costa will be an unknown quantity for them so could still cause a problem. Then again - is Uncle Albert back home?

I wouldn’t risk Lolley for this if there is a doubt, as Rev alluded too we have a cushion and bigger games to come

Can’t see this being a goal fest, probably no more than one in it, and one could even win it. Derby’s run in is even more difficult than ours therefore 3 points are more vital to them than us, a draw would be an excellent result for us, especially if we stop them scoring against us for the sixth game in a row. Both teams have a really good chance of making the -lay offs, assuming the EFL don’t intervene with a points deduction. With the unpredictability of this season I can seriously see us facing each other in the play offs, so to keep the unbeaten run going against them could prove to be a psychological advantage. My guess 1-1.

Beating Millwall and Preston has kept us in with a sniff but it would be a surprise to me if we could win enough of our remaining games to get into the play-offs, given the opposition coming up. You never know though.

One of the benefits of having Rooney is that he attracts attention from opponents as already proven in this thread. I think Cocu will be more than happy if Forest focus on Rooney because Rooney can certainly handle it and it will provide more space for Bird and Sibley who are both in terrific form.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Rooney booked or even sent off 👍🏼 His temperament has always been in question IMO

It would surprise me greatly - he has not shown any sign of such a thing since he signed. I think it is far more likely that an opponent would get sent off by unsuccessfully trying to wind him up. He's a wily old fox these days, not an angry pup.

posted on 3/7/20

I can see there might be an element of trying to provoke Rooney, going by his past record - but that’s just my guess

I just hope it’s a good honest game 👍🏼

I would love a return to the feisty days of Clough and Artoo. There have been few memorable games in the last few seasons whichever team has won whereas before that there were plenty of sending offs (usually unjustified), Kneegate, the Atwell game, Ten Men Day, the Deforestation Derby and others that at least stayed in the memory for more than five minutes.

Nah, that doesn’t interest me at all

I just want Forest to be able to play their game and come out on top - both teams, Clubs and sets of supporters know we’re better and have more quality as a team - we aren’t 4th in the League for nothing

So, if it pans out on form, quality, and how both teams have faired so far, then we’ll take all 3 points 👍🏼

Sendings off. It’s a compound plural, idiot.
666 would never have made such a Spart-esque error.
