I think that has to be the new approach!
We’ve tried homegrown (Zinchenko), budget (Delph) and expensive (Mendy). None of them seem to have worked out at LB
Seems a lot of money for this one given his age, but the defence has left us 20 points adrift of Liverpool this season, the club is right to address it.

Lloris won a world cup, not sure there is a long queue of clubs wanting to buy him. Being in a World Cup winning team isn't always a sign of a quality player.
