We have by country miles the best run in. I’m a little hesitant about how well we’ve been recently as we haven’t played a team that plays in a way that would cause us issues since the restart. Decent pressing teams could put us under a lot of pressure, none of the teams we’ve faced so far, fit that category, most haven’t been great, except spurs, who are under defensive Mourinho and an injury hit Sheff Utd who punched, well above their weight.. That said, I think we in a place that we will be quicker to transition forward, so who knows, hopefully we’ll be much more able to cope with that.
fit looks like it might be a last day shootout with Leicester
.......
If we win the games before Leicester we will make top four.
Wolves, Leicester, Chelsea and Shef Utd will talks points off each other when that play.
The way I see it is that Chelsea and Leicester will have to win all their remaining games to stay ahead of us.
Can’t see it with their run ins.

Southampton will be tricky. They've got a great away record and I'm not sure we'll beat them if we defend as we did today. We should win though, and should win the other games leading up to the final day. We still need to get the job done and hope Leicester or Chelsea drop points before that. Otherwise, it's out of our hands
Everyone of those games look like United wins for me.
Wouldn't be surprised if they nabbed 3rd place.
We've got an easy on paper schedule - So: No complacency and full steam ahead
In my opinion (As our schedule shown in comparison to others) United are in pole position to finish 3rd, I see Chelsea to remain in fourth, with Leicester slipping to fifth, which would still ensure a CL spot if City’s European ban is upheld.
The thing is we lost to Bournemouth earlier on in the season. Also of those 5 teams in reverse fixture we only beat Leicester and took 2 points in the other 4. We completely battered all 4 but we gifted them points.

tbh this season we've done far better against teams that try take the game to us.
its the ones that sit back that we've struggled against, thats what's been refreshing about recent results.

Yeah. Though Southampton are very much a team who don't take the game to the opposition. That's why they're so good away from home. It will be a good test
United will finish 3rd.
4th and 5th are up for grabs. Leicester, Wolves and Chelsea all have some tough games remaining. I’m pretty sure it’ll go to the last day.
It looks good on paper but results never go the way you expect!
I hope yesterday’s doesn’t spark a Leicester’s season back into life.
For those saying it’s not in our hands against Leicester, why?
Win all our games and claw back the goal difference and we finish above them
we need to try and make up the 9 goal difference with Leicester just in case it come down to that on the last day. Assuming we do beat them by a single goal then that's a swing of 2. So 7 more in the other 5 games. doable given the number of goals we're scoring.

Problem is it’s extremely unlikely to make up 9 goals in so few games.
Realistically it’s in their hands.
I think Arsenal will do is a favour anyway and put it right back in our hands

We’ve scored 11 in 3... it’s not extremely unlikely.... and of we beat them on the last day, then each goal is a double swing

It's incredibly unlikely. As if it was to come down to GD, we'd need to have the exact same results as them going into the final match, then beat them. So we'd need to be not just winning our next 4 games, but winning them each by a couple more goals than they do, to realistically win it on goal difference.
It is very very nearly impossible. Let's leave the goal difference to Leicester thing out of this. It isn't happening

I do take your point that every goal we score in that game is effectively double in terms of GD. But I think it's far too big an ask

The head to head is a huge factor though. In the scenario that we take it on goal difference we have to win. Every goal we win by is doubled in terms of gd. So if we could claw back a few goals we could go into the last game needing a 2/3 goal win. Very difficult yes but a realistic scenario
Good point wonder man, hadn’t considered that. Silly me.
The fact remains that in such a scenario, it’s in our hands, regardless of how hard or easy that is (similarly, if we are 3 clear of Leicester by then, it’s also still in their hands too)
