Tough away game this and I feel Nuno will revert back to playing Jota and Jimenez up front and Dendonker back in a 3-5-2 formation. Traore was a bit of a disappointment against Arsenal, playing up front and moving all over the place, finally slotting in as a wing back.

I think we need to be looking for a replacement for Saiss, who is probably not at his best and does pick up too many yellow cards. Not sure Killman will replace him this season, but I'd like Boly back over on the left with a new player on the right.

Big game Wednesday now, instead of looking at those ahead of us we find ourselves looking at those behind us. We generally bounce back well so fingers crossed.

Saiss was never the intended answer in defence but a forced upon option as we failed to add to the squad properly. Great utility player for sure though.

Saiss would never have been a permanent fixture on the left of the back 3 if Bennett hadn't been shipped out. I still have no idea what Bennettdid to upset Nuno but I still think the best back line we have had was Boly, Coady and Bennett.

Yeah strange decision letting Bennett go. Presumably a fall out of some kind.

Thought Saiss did ok yesterday, I think we lost it in midfield.

East Midlands Gem ???

I think Saiss has done well in defence generally but he hasn’t been as good since the restart. Gave away silly free kicks again yesterday including one after he had been yellow carded which was risky

All sorts of rumours about Bennett. The one I hear about the most is him having a relationship with the wife of one of the back room staff. No idea if that’s true but he certainly did something to put himself out of favour

I noticed Tim Spiers referred to Bennett as "Brexit Benno" yesterday on Twitter. Wonder if he'd aired some views that were unpopular among our multi national squad?

Saiss certainly isn't the reason we lost. We got it wrong, simple as that but that is always a danger when we are only trying to play for one half.

Our whole game plan seems to be to get to half time scoreless and then up it a gear. 15 times we have failed to do that which has left us making comebacks, often successfully but it says a lot that all the highlights of our season will basically be comebacks once we have taken the shackles off rather than the style we originally set up with.

Well what would you call it?. It's still south enough to be classed as the midlands and it's well east of Wolverhampton. So ok, northeast midlands if it makes you happy.

East Midlands for me is Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and possibly parts of Lincolnshire. Sheffield's in Yorkshire so that's oop north in my book. Don't think there's a firm definition mind you.

Every time mate. And in fact there is a definition according to wikipedia:

The East Midlands is one of nine official regions of England at the first level of NUTS for statistical purposes. It consists of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire (except North and North East Lincolnshire), Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland. The region has an area of 15,627 km2 (6,034 sq mi), with a population over 4.5 million in 2011. There are six main urban centres, Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Mansfield, Northampton and Nottingham.

OK I stand corrected. I'll never refer to Sheffield as Midlands again

Not much to draw you to the East Midlands is there. Lincoln has a nice cathedral and Rutland is ok but Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Northampton and Mansfield aren’t up to much.

Leicester is quite memorable - if you can get in, and then live to get out. I escaped about seven years ago.

There's the national space museum in Leicester.
