All Ake has to do is keep going according to Ole. Apparently we need a left footed CB. And he's the man if he does.

Still...I don't think it necessarily means Ole is considering Ake as his number one target...Maybe he's trying to be nice

Wouldn’t be the worst signing but don’t think he would improve us much.
If we can sell Smalling, Jones and Rojo then Ake wouldn’t be a bad signing if he’s available at a decent price.
Don’t think there’s any particular need for a left footed centre back.
Ake isn’t a very good defender though. Comfortable on the ball and a threat in the opposition box but not the greatest defensively.
If you’re looking to pluck a centre half from a club down the bottom end then Jack Stephens looks better to me.
