When you look at the title of the OP, you realise how far it's clutching at straws.

If something is a miracle, then it's highly unlikely to ever be repeated.

I don't think anyone would disagree that Hearts may have been able to escape relegation, but it was becoming more and more unlikely with each passing game.

Most of the blame for Hearts' position should rest at the door of the players, the managers and Anne Budge.

The players for not turning up often enough for games, the management for bringing in these players and being responsible for tactics and motivation, and Anne Budge for poor judgement of the managers she did bring in.

It's unfortunate what's happened to them, and if it were any of our teams in that position we would probably want them to fight tooth and nail as well. But, the longer it's going on, the less sympathy I feel for Hearts (I didn't really have a lot to begin with) and PT are being dragged down with them, and yet it's PT that have the strongest case I think.

I don't understand any of this thread. And I have tried reading at least half of it.

So much discord.

I used to quite like this site.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The whole point was to highlight the indisputable fact that if the EPL had called the season when Leicester were prime candidates for relegation then they would not have won the EPL the following season or been in the CL the season after. This highlights how wrong it is to relegate clubs when it is mathematically possible for them to stay up

The thread then got hijacked by the usual posters who cannot take their logic being questioned and the usual hostility towards new posters that are not new celtic posters!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You do this every time.

You are not a new poster!!

I tried to discuss it with you, but your responses were puerile and pointless, even after giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Why not go bore some other forum now? You’ve really become very tedious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have read your argumentative posting style and like so many others on here I had no inclination to converse with you. Away and argue with your shadow
