Jeremy Simpson had a shocker there. How on Earth was that a red card?

Swansea winning at half time. Only a point off playoffs as it stands. Would make Sunday an even bigger game!

I hope I’m remembering this correctly but I believe Jeremy Simpson refereed our game against Brentford last season at ER when we were “cheated” out of the win and I believe Pontus said this in the post match interview and got himself into hot water. The ref was so one-sided against Leeds in that match.

Worst case scenario this. WBA top, two points clear.
Brentford 3 back. Yes, we have a game in hand. But,
last season deja vu or what. Officially worried now
that we'll lose tomorrow and be up sh. 1. T creek.
Again.

I think the last week has shown that we are going to get zero help from other teams doing us favours. We are going to have to do it ourselves.

During the lockdown there were thoughts out there that if we restarted we'd just need maybe 13/14 more points from the 72 we started on as other teams would drop their fair share of points.That is simply not happening.

We need a win every game mentality from now on Brentford style since the restart and Villa from back. end of last season. I am sure the players will say they have that and tomorrow night is a great opportunity to show it again.

To get to that sort of standard in those 5 games, concentration at the back and being clinical and not fluffing sitters up top is paramount. It is stating the obvious but we have seen this before and we have to cut it out.

I feel it is going right to the last game.We have the ability to get it done. it's come to crunch time and career defining games for all concerned.

I hope none of our players are feeling the same pain as some around here!..

PNE 3 pts off playoffs as well. Their next 2 Forest at home and Brentford away. Shame they're not the other way around!

They are much better than they were in the first ten minutes. Deserved their equaliser.

Should be an open 2nd half with both teams needing the win.
