Might be an idea to guess how many penalties Utd will get in those 4 games?
I'll go 12
I think Utd 3rd, Chelsea 4th and is 5th.
It’s such a shame that we’re not confident of anything more than that.
My worry anyway is that if we can’t pick up 3 wins from our remaining 4 games we’ll be lacking confidence going in to next season anyway.
I really hope that we suddenly find a bit of form and go unbeaten u til the end of the season, secure 4th and go in to the close season with renewed confidence.
Too hopeful? 😐
It doesn't exactly look good, certainly. And I don't believe we can achieve the dominance we need in matches to pick up enough points.
Still, all we can do for now is focus on getting 3 points against Bournemouth. Maybe there will be a slip-up elsewhere. If we can't beat Bournemouth based on the atrocious match I witnessed last night then the run-ins don't matter anyway.
I think we have the easiest run over the next three games. I think everything now will depend on Rodger’s ability get the team to focus on this as mini group of 3 games. If they look back at the gap that we had created the nerves and lack of confidence will probably remain. If not, I’m more optimistic. An early goal or two would do us the world of good against Bournemouth, both in terms of confidence and the chance to reserve a little energy ahead of a harder game in the week.
My gut feeling is still optimistic to a certain extent - if we win three on the bounce, I think we will have fourth guaranteed (even if it’s by goal difference). But winning 3 on the bounce is a big ask at the moment
I still think Man U have the easiest run over the next 3. Southampton have done excellently to pick up 4 points from the last 2 games but it's hard to see them continuing in that vein. Palace will probably be their toughest fixture because Roy will likely want a performance after recent results. West Ham can occasionally pull off a shock but are far more likely not to.
I would agree that winning the next 3 would very likely get us top 4. But as you say, that's hard to envisage right now.
Anything between 3 and 7 and it's likely we'll need a result of some sort against Man Utd.
Less than 3 and we're more likely in trouble hanging onto 5th.
And for what it's worth: I see Chelsea getting 4-7 points from the next 3 and Man Utd getting 7, possibly 9.

The thing is we won the last 4 PL games by 3 goal margins and all 4 of them we missed a lot of sitters as in over 10. We should have won all 4 by at least 5. The thing is you can see the team are enjoying destroying the opposition and every team we face are now scared.
The thing is.... The thing is.... You confused this site for the Man City site. They are the team that plays in Manchester and not Stretford. Move on and you still have not won $hit! Talking of 5 goals.... I remember putting that number past you! See you on the last day, you will be scared not us.....
The game you scored 5 illegal goals.
I should have said this is the most dangerous Man Utd side I have seen. Its not just due to form but everyone wants to score. Before we would struggle to score more than 1 this season.
Beaten Man City 3x this season.
Illegal goals? Or Fergie time? Did Man City put six past you in Stretford? Yes you did score one that day..... They looked scared.
What happens to European places if Manchester United finish in top four and win Europa League and/or FA Cup?
PS Norwich beat Man City and the team we put nine past.... Saints that is.

Wolves in 6th place would be in. Only if they score 5 goals and the opposition look scared.
Good result for Big Nige. Good for us too as it means Bournemouth need to come out and try to beat us which will hopefully play in to our hands. That or they’ll just beat us!
C'mon Utd.
Give us a chance to get third place back.

He's done wonders hasn't he, what a turn around for Watford.
Sheff Utd bossing that game. Gonna be tough against them!
Looks like we’ve been presented with an excellent opportunity to regain 3rd. It won’t be easy, but if we want CL , you have to beat Bournemouth on their patch.
Leicester City away form has been poor for a while. Will it continue. Bournemouth looked great against Spurs and will feel like it is there cup final they have to win. Bournemouth could get picked off in desperation for the win or could carry on great all round performance and nick a win.

Yep, that about sums up my thoughts on it as well. If we can’t win this we don’t deserve a top 4 place!
Bournemouth 0 Vardy 5. Golden boat is on the line....
They have to win which will suit us.
I can not wait for the last game of the season!

There or their cup final?
Who does not look great against Spurs? Oh yes Man U
