As an outsider it looks like Levy took Poch for granted, which then left the squad in a mess, which Poch knew.
Surely now it would have been more financial prudent to back Poch and spend money to refresh the squad, as now you're nowhere near winning trophies or getting that CL money. Squad will still need a lot of work to compete again, but you're doing it from a weaker position.
