Barf really doesn't like VVD for some reason.
Bruno has such a quick brain. We’re not ponderous any more and that helps the fast players we have in attack. It’s going to be a challenge getting him and Pogba working together long-term in bigger games but all good so far.

He's just really positive. I eatched him track back the other day, he tries things, great feee kick. That kind of stuff is infectious. He shows for the ball constantly too which I like.

The longer this form goes on, the more it seems like we have a real star on our hands.
25 years old as well.
Next season is the acid test though.
Whilst there is a lot to play for from our perspective, we really need to see a big advance in our league position / points total I think.
Ole will have had enough transfer windows for that to be the case. The signs are good.

I disagree with that. I think it’s going to be easy as feck getting that front 5 to play fluid football. All of them are working for the team.
We just need to give them a solid base so they can freely express themselves. A younger version of Matic and Koulibaly would go a long way.

Lovren is just the fall guy. When Liverpool get beaten, VVD has been every bit as culpable as everyone else.
In fact, it's Matip that glues the Liverpool defence together. Generally, when the defence is ropey and they get beat and concede a few, it's when Matip is absent.

That would make sense, if Lovren wasn't awful before VVD came too... I'm not saying that it's always Lovren's fault, just saying that VVD has to work harder to compensate. The rest of their defence is awesome.

Obviously things went to absolute shiiite after that but his start at the club was pretty explosive.

Agreed. I think this is the benefit of having him & Pogba. For too long our midfield was too heavily reliant on one person to create. Now we’ve two hopefully if one gets man marked the other can create.

Yeah he was a weird one. I felt like it was at least in part an attitude thing. He had that unreal Euro's then looked brilliant (briefly) for us before becoming very unfit looking and drifting out of the side
