You seem to have forgotten the best side left in the competition. Bayern's

They will go on and win it. City are decent but really not that good

cup competitions are always a bit of a lottery, this year's even more so - single leg knockouts, teams in varying stages of rustiness (PSG won't have played for 6 months, then have to rock up and hit top form in 90 minutes), and City even have the silliness of madrid's away goals counting double even though the match is being played in an empty stadium.

i guess aguero is out for city, which is a big blow. they've now lost sane, with no current replacement. if they can keep everyone else fit they have a good chance, but you may as well roll dice as bet on this year's tournament.

Not looking beyond the Real game atm but if we do prevail then Pep is the master of one-off cup ties.

If they lose their appeal against being found guilty of cheating, everyone should begrudge them everything. 🙂
As regard the competition itself, it's a cobbled up mess, that should have been voided.😏

Keep trying what?
The average fan should hope a corrupt club should win a an inpromtu thrown together version of the greatest club cup competition in football? 🤔
Nah, it's a basket case, and as I said, if City's ban is upheld, no right thinking supporter would want to see them win anything. 🙂

christ, i've said it before, and no doubt i'll have cause to say it again, but imagine winning your first title for 30 years and still being this bitter.

Won’t count even if they do fluke it. It’s tainted.

It's one of the many, many reasons no one likes them.

Next year is their year for the CL

Nothing to do with bitterness.
Just because you win a trophy, doesn't mean you suddenly don't give a toss about corruption in the sport. 🙂

Because we don't support corruption in football?
Sound, long may it continue. 🙂

One of those byes knocked out the holders Real Madrid last season.

what "corruption" are you on about? if you're talking about match fixing, or bribing of referees, let's hear all about it.

if you mean that city made an operating loss of £30m, when some spurious rule only allowed for a loss of £25m, or if their wages;revenues exceeded some arbitrary limit, who cares? FFP wasn't around 20 years ago, I've no real idea why it was introduced, and I just don't care about it, and certainly it doesn't count as corruption.

Is the BL any more interesting because of FFP? Has it meant that more teams have won Serie A? Is Ligue I better for it?

We all hate corruption whether it be hacking a rival teams' database, attacking their team coach before a vital game or just getting inexplicable VAR decisions go their way.

All City's titles were won on merit, no VAR, no multiple substitutions, no drinks breaks and stadiums with crowds to make our away games a hostile environment.

It's a corruption of the rules soft lad.
And just because you personally don't give a 5h1t, means absolutely nothing. 😂

Is that the best you've got. 😂😂😂

Wouldn't be a proper big ears unfortunately. The remainder of the competition is being played as a mini tournament and mostly single legged ties. So whoever does win it, it would probably need an asterisk next to it.

i don't think you know what corruption means.

and as i said, why you care so much about a competition you're no longer involved in, i do not know.

Everyone knows *Liverpool pulled a fast one of the Stanley Park Project.

Claiming a feasability study cost £50m+ was just a scam to get round FFP.

City have been charged with 'offences' that happened 8 years ago, Liverpool may yet be quite rightly brought to task.

posted on 10/7/20

Anyway, I'm pretty sure CAS will probably come up with some elongated nonsense, as to why City shouldn't be banned.
Probably throw covid 19 into the mix, call it disproportionate, clubs have suffered enough, or some such b0ll0x. 🙂

Don’t think we were in Europe at the time

Would be a strange to see them win a competition their about to be banned from for cheating. Wouldn’t begrudge some of their great players from winning it though, if they were allowed to contest the final under a neutral flag, like the Russian athletes at the Olympics.

Maybe you should attack the courtroom or at least fire some flares at it.
