I’m embarrassed we couldn’t beat them [arsenal] last week and we’re terrible at the minute

Embarrassing. Unprofessional. Unacceptable.

Pretty much the same. We’ve been awful for ages - as evidenced by the fact we couldn’t beat a team with David Luiz and Mustafi in it

Imagine losing to Bournemouth
Almost 5-1 too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine losing 1-6 to Man City at home or beating us 1-3 then losing 5- 3? Go figure......

First half Bournemouth looked really fragile and lacking in confidence. We managed to give that back to them in spades with an atrocious showing in the second.

This is going to kill the players for the rest of the season.

If we start next season this poorly, Brendan won't be manager by Christmas.

Again, fantastic - but why does that always happen? Oh I know - because the club can’t make decent football decisions. They struck incredibly lucky with Ranieri, the rest has been a shambles

You going to go tap up Sean Dyche, Black Starr?

I think I’m a stage behind everyone else, I just feel completely numb about what just happened.

I think many thousands of fans have seen this coming. Though we were well worthy of our top four spot for the first four months of the season. Seemed to lose belief from Christmas and losing to the top two (as are now). We've missed Ricardo immensely and Maddison more recently.

If he continues to make bad decisions, he'll deserve to get sacked. But again, and I keep coming back to it, we have another manager who starts well then we collapse. It's becoming a reoccurring issue. How do we stop this happening? At what stage do we look at the conduct of the players?

Im sure if this was either Manchester club or Chelsea
He would have been fired by now

You can not stop can you...... Mersey said leave it alone and you can not. Poor little person..... I am cooking Chicken Marsala for my Wife. You should maybe consider getting a life. Five goals in your 0-0 make fun of my team, our manager or club. Just please delete me tough guy.

These are completely different players to when Ranieri and Shakespeare experienced the same thing. It’s not the players - it’s the poor decision making of the football club, across the entire spectrum. Been saying it for years.

I’m waiting to see what Rodgers has to say about this. Will he be angry? Rueful? Stunned?

I don’t think he will show any real reaction other than saying it was nowhere near good enough.

Makes it all very simple. We have 3 games and need to win them all.

Players have to take on the responsibility but
So do the club for the last 2 transfer window
If we go back to August
I was thinking good chance of 6th and the need next season to buy in 3 top players
When it looked like champions league
3 top players and 3 squad players
But now
6 good squad players just to stay 6th to 8th?

posted on 12/7/20

If Rodgers don't take responsibility for that he can fack off. Genuinely who would care if he was sacked after that?

I hope he’s angry. Then I hope he uses that to get the fire back in the players.

He’s not getting fire back into these players this season after this. Sheffield United are easily going to outfight us during the week.
