We deserved the win in both games but VAR and missed chances and set piece killed us.

no consistency whatsoever

The 2 draws we had since restart were games we should have won. Big chances missed and conceded from very few chances against us.
Only good thing is Leicester City have 3 tough fixtures and Chelsea have 2 so if we win next 2 we could be in a good position going into last game.

You’d never know. You’ve 2 winnable games to put you in with a fighting chance on the last 2 day imo.
We just need to recover. This will show if we got the bottle to recover from this. It reminded me sort of PSG 1-3 Man Utd game, they got into a good position twice but completely messed up and all we needed was one moment to win it without applying any real pressure. Saints just got a lucky break and got a goal. Another day we clear it and we win.

Don’t think you’re in a position to moan about VAR after that atrocious decision against villa.
Yeah but we were denied at least another stonewall penalty and another penalty other refs have given.
Var gifted you 3points at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea had 2 goals disallowed by Var and Mcguire should have seen red long before he score nr 2.
2 games Southampton got away with red cards and in first game got away with a clear penalty. It was so stonewall the commentators were talking about who should take it but it wasn’t given lol. It was like a red card foul but no penalty was given lol. Basically Greenwood got to the ball first and player cleaned Greenwood out kicking him full whack instead of the ball.
That reminds me they got away with 2 red card offences in first game and one today. What is VAR for.
Remember Palace at OT Cahill does a last man foul, Solskjaer esque and VAR ignore a clear red card lol. Then 2nd half a clear foul in the box and because it was probably the most clearest penalty decision you can get VAR excuse was they never looked at the penalty incident and looked at something else. Sheffield U ited game smashing a player out the way is legal but breathing next to the player is a foul. That happened to Jones in space of 2 minutes. Smashed out the way and only reason they scored was assisted by a smash by there player. Irony was 1 minute later Jones went near a Sheffield United player didn’t even do anything and ref blowed for a freekick. Is that corruption or what?
Wins against Palace and West Ham should be enough.

We just need to recover. This will show if we got the bottle to recover from this.
