Who finishes 3rd then?

I cant predict it tbh, would not be suprised if utd got 7 or 9 points but would not be suprised if we lost to norwich but beat liverpool.

We are missing kante which is huge for us

I think we got it all to do, Chelsea only need 4 points and they beat Norwich. So only need a draw from there remaining 2 games. If Leicester beat Sheffield Utd before we play. Then that puts all the pressure on us.

i'm not as bothered about last night as some, but am a bit concerned about palace, a 72 hour turnaround, possibly no fit LB, and quite a few players yesterday who looked very below par (possibly due to fatigue).

On the other hand we know that WWW will get us CL, and I would be 80% certain that WWD and even DDW will do the same.

Given leicester's form over the last 4 months, their capitulation at bournemouth, and their fixtures, it wouldn't entirely surprise me if they don't win again this season.

Can see us beating Palace. West Ham have cost us over the years plus Moyes is in charge. Could come down to the Leicester game on the last day.

I think Wolves could still be in it too, considering they play Chelsea.

If we beat Arsenal they may go full throttle against your boys to try and get the points record. Drop points and I reckon the squad will be on holidays which could suit you.

Although I believe we get the trophy after that game so they may want to put on a performance regardless?

It's more than possible that at the start of play on the last day of the season we could have:

Leicester 63
Chelsea 63
United 63
Wolves 61

What a final day that would be!

The FA need us to qualify for the CL, represent the PL and also help us grow domestically which in turn grows the PL which we built. We basically are the PL. Is anyone going to take the PL seriously if Leicester are representing it in the CL? No.

Hopefully the FA realise just what happens when they don't give us penalties, we end up drawing. They got complacent. If they really want us to be their representatives, then they need to give us their full backing.

Us and Leicester just passing the ball to eachother knowing we've both qualified as Chelsea is 0-0 and then Chelsea score a last minute goal to make it 1-0 so them and Leicester are qualifying. So we desperately try and score and Leicester hit us on the break, and then Wolves equalise and we are still going out and then Wolves score again and Leicester and Wolves qualify.

posted on 14/7/20

Wolves winning would mean we could just pass the ball about between ourselves.

Im not bothered personally mate, the job of winning the title is done and that was all that mattered to me. Records are not important as far as I am concerned.

That said I am sure the team will not want to lose the long unbeaten home league record.

It will come down to Leicester and United and right now, I don't fancy Leicester chances tbh.

I think Chelsea got away with it, whenever they dropped point so did all the other sides around them. So effectively they'll get CL by virtue of everyone else being more rubbish than them.

I knew United will come cropper against a team that works its socks off, and is not afraid to attack. Providing the officials don't be generous on United, the score would reflect Saints tough to beat accolade.

Their manager is for me, the most underrated along with Chris Wilder.

The only outside who could nip-in is Wolves for me. They did blow hot and cold from time to time. I mean how they lost that game to Arsenal I don't know! They had more than enough to destroy Arsenal but were guilty of having an off-day.

United probably will take Leicester's CL place and Wolves will finish behind United.

All this looking at current form but form is one thing but what happens on the pitch could be different!

Anyway, it could go down to the last game of the season Leicester v United

I'm hoping it goes to the last day, as a neutral(rofl). Would make for a cracking game between Leicester and United.

It's all about winning the title. Wouldn't blame the LFC players if they weren't quite at it but they may well want to break the 100 point barrier so that's the incentive.

Pop corn ready type of game

Being a neutral, I'll be able to enjoy it without nerves

From my point if view I want Leicester to beat Sheffield United, Chelsea to beat Wolves, but it gets a bit confusing as I had a bet on United pre lockdown to get top four.

Interesting, because before the lockdown it all looked like 3 and 4th would between Chelsea and Leicester.

It's the spending in the transfer market and buying of Fernandes that helped United but that wasn't obvious before the lockdown.
