Really enjoy when we play like that, intensity from front to back and plenty of composure on the ball while still being a threat. Giroud was class, Mount and kovacic did really well, James back to what he's capable of and didn't give them a sniff bar a soft pen

I wouldn't say he was clearly better and it would be open to debate - which is tribute to the whole team that it's so hard to pick out who our best player was!
I thought we actually looked pretty solid today. At times this season we have looked pretty porous and able to concede easy goals on cue, but Frank certainly picked the right system and personnel for the day. Despite our results against United this season I can't honestly say that I ever feared them like I would have, if we were facing Man City in the Final.

Fairness I think I might've not categorically slammed that opinion down during the exchange, so I'm just as bad
My thing was Sarri's particular style of play didn't gel with Kova's natural game, he didn't want our midfielders to carry the ball through zones which he's great at, so I was fine with the club spending the money if they believed Lampard's style would get more out of him. Great decision

I thought we actually looked pretty solid today.
