Is/was he Bielsa's interpreter?

If he does well, he'll be your head coach in a year or two, if he's sh¡te, he'll be gone by Xmas, as fat Phil is ruthless.

He talks about trust etc, I wouldn't trust our chairman/owner as far as I could throw the big fella.

This is like a loan. Two years, we see if he is ready to step up and take Marcelo's place

I hope he does well, and then if he wants to move on, so be it. It looks like we've been talking to him for a while (sneaky fooking chairman/Bromby) and his decision was made when we sealed our own fate and Leed's destiny last Friday.

All the best to fella, it feels like Wagner mk 2

My word, don't sound like you wish him well. Will find out he's the Peter Taylor to Bielsa's Clough.

We'll see how he goes, as you say he'll be your manager in a couple of years, trying to get you back to the greedy league again... 😁

I'm not on the wind up as I'd like to see him do well, but I don't think he has the stature/authority/gravitas yet to be manager.

Whenever I watch the youth teams he seems to get backchat, not sure he'll get the respect of pro's.

If they're wanting him to bring through some decent kids he may have a better chance.

Wonder if we will send him some of the kids that we want to loan out. Gotts, Stevens etc

Poyet got grief when he came with Bate's love child, and turned out to be the Bielsa of that team!..

Backchat might be him listening and than saying he's right, but whatever, he's had one of the best teachers to be had as far as football goes, this could be his chance to show what he's learnt!..

Good luck to the Guy, hope all goes well for him and he's successful in the new chapter of career!..

Poyet helped get us relegated to the third tier. Being the brains of that partnership is hardly a compliment.

That's a good point Sol. When people think of Wise and Poyet they tend to remember the -15 points and the run of wins at the start of the season.

Whilst that was some achievement I think people forget that these two had the best part of 3/4s of a season to keep us in the championship with a squad (minus RobHulse) that were in the play off final he season before. They couldn't manage it.

You compare that to likes of the Luton and Barnsley managers who came in part way through this season .

He will have MB's influence and Hudders might be Leeds MK2 soon...

Odd, I thought relegation had more to do with admin and a 10 point deduction?..
