Well there is that as well!
Looks like Origi wants a new challenge and not be backup to our front 3 which you can't blame him. He could be a good signing for Villa.

A PL level manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wouldn’t be opposed to a new manager
They need 5/6 even before we get to replacing Grealish.
Keeper, Centre Back, Centre Midfielder, Winger, Forward, possibly a full back.
I'd like to see them go for Callum Wilson.
We definately need 5 players of genuine quality.
Benrahma - desperately. Looks like Brentford might blow it too in the playoffs.
2 experienced defenders
strong defensive midfielder,
Top striker. Wesley and Samatta as back up.
New keeper and extend Reina's contract. His experience is vital.
Keep Jack.
If Grealish goes, he will be missed but cant grudge him a move
He won't go to a club where he'll play 1 in every 3 or 4 games. He's way to good for that and his price tag would be crazy for that kind of return. He's a big game player and should start. I'm sure he'll stop if he sees the ambition of the owners and where we want to go.
I think he'll stay.
I hope he stays too, still young enough to give one more season then possibly a big move
Dont think we need that many.
Id keep Reina if he was available he is vocal and a leader but I guess not a first choice?
Left back needed.I like Guillbert and Elmo decent back up. Centre of defence getting there.
Probably let El Ghazi go, and a lot of non regulars on bench Lansbury Jota etc.
It all depends on who goes..................
Benrhama a must this time round and somebody who can score goals a plenty
They are difficult to find and the way we play doesn't help.
Samatta will probably go but Wesley could be useful as he looked to be getting there prior to injury.
As for replacing the manager I cannot see why?
UTV
Personally
Brooks, Doucoure, Benrhama, maybe Batshuayi would be a decent signing and a CB, LB
Although I think Konsa/Mings if stuck with could be decent with Engels/Hause back up
Konsa is going to be very good.
And I think Hause bar the odd mistake has shown a lot of promise.
Hause as back up for Mings as a LCB, Konsa has looked the better CB since the restart
Konsa and Mings will only get better after this season.
El Ghazi can definately go. Trez has earned another season hopefully he'll be more consistent. Same for Wesley. I Know he got injured but he was really struggling before.
Samatta looked a decent find but looks hopeless now. He can go.
We need one really top striker and Benrahma. We surely must get him in straight away, no more playing around with that.
depends if Brentford get promoted id guess, plenty other good wingers out there
GK: Reina for another year as we don't know how Heaton and Steer will shape up. Likewise keep Nyland.
LB: Taylor's OK as backup; Targett has improved over the season but still not convinced. A signing nice but not essential.
CM: We need a midfield which can keep pressure off the defence but act as a springboard for attacks. There's something missing.
Forwards: Our problem is we don't have an organised attack; we need to attack as a team and with speed. Can't decide what we need unless that is worked out in advance.
Manager: Deserves credit for getting us up and keeping us up. My feeling is that if we're ambitious enough to move to the next level as a club we need a different hand on the tiller. I may be proved wrong.
My thoughts:
Manager: I think as a club we need to be thinking bigger than Dean Smith if we want to become a European chasing team again, but I suspect the owners will be too soft, see that he kept us up, and let him start next season. If we're in trouble again, which I fear we might well be under Dean, I can see him being sacked but it's always difficult to recruit a top level manager during the season. I suppose Everton got Ancelotti halfway through last season though
Transfer targets
Striker: we need a proven goalscorer up front. I'd love Tammy back but not sure that's likely, otherwise take your pick from Callum Wilson, Batshuayi, Belotti, Boadu, Ben Yedder. I'm not too convinced by Origi or Iheanacho links, but when played regularly they could become decent goalscorers.
Winger: We also need someone really fast winger with end product - Benrahma, Sarr or Rashica would all add pace and quality. Berardi and Berghuis would be ambitious targets and are quick and score goals.
Centre mid/defensive mid: need a tough tackler in midfield after Nakamba failed to impress. Luiz and McGinn are both starting players but need licence to go forward. McKennie looks a really good player in Germany. Barrios would be ambitious or maybe Lerma from Bournemouth.
Those are the three most crucial positions for me. As we have wealthy owners and the potential to go far, I want us to start spending the money on genuine quality. I'd also bring Reina back on loan (think that's in the pipeline) and think we could improve CB, RB and LB but maybe should look to loan in these positions or go for someone with experience who won't cost a lot. Malang Sarr is available on a free, as is Jan Vertonghen, We could also look at Clyne who could be decent competition for Guilbert.
Players who should go - I think I'd be looking to move on Jota, Lansbury, Engels or Hause, Taylor, Nyland. I'd probably keep players like Samatta, El Ghazi, Trez, Hourihane and Nakamba as decent bench options. Send Davis out on loan without doubt, he needs to learn to finish.
apparently he is getting a £100m kitty
def need shot of those mentioned and Kalinic, would sell off Nakamba and Samatta as well
If Heaton is fit then no need for Reina imo
The rumours of Origi, Kelechi, McCarthy don't fill me with excitement tbh even tho Origi is better than Wesley/Samatta
James McCarthy being linked too, no thanks
Bree, Chester, Hogan all need gone too
Will be interesting now that Suso is gone
Yeah, Bree, Chester and Hogan can be moved on, as can Kalinic.
Didn't think Heaton was back for a fair while yet, if he's fit for the new season then I guess Reina isn't needed.
Will be an interesting but anxious few weeks ahead.
hopefully no more players from Belgium!
Apart from Jonathan David I agree
Yes but looks like he is on his way to Lille
