Should be fun. Not that I remember much of our rivalry with them back in those days. 🙄

I don't hate Lampard but I'm in a very small minority. Fond memories of playing at Chelsea. Years ago exiting via Brompton Cemetery . Piccadilly Circus when 153 including 3 mates got arrested. I was just a bystander . Happy days.

Of course you were just a bystander!

Incidently, what is it that Leeds fans 'Hate' about Frank Lampard?

Surely it's not just to do with the spygate affair?

Seems a bit overkill to announce your hate for someone over something as meanial as that - there must be more, surely?

Yeah I wouldn't mind knowing why aswell? I'm not complaining, it's gunna make our matches next year even better, but it is curious.

He played for Chelsea made a big fuss over spygate and gloated after the play off win.

So, let me get this right.

Leeds got caught with their pants down, with a spy in the wrong place at the wrong time. Frank, IMO, was rightly annoyed about it.

So Leeds fans took the pi$$ with their 'Stop crying Frank Lampard' (good tune by the way) song, then got all precious and decided they hated him when it came back to hit them squarely in the chops.

Anything I've missed?

He did make a meal of it tbf. AVB's gone on record saying he used to do it for Mourinho when he was a scout, which Lampard would've known about.

Honestly think Lampard just got wound up that Bielsa got one over him, but he won the biggest match ultimately so who cares

My personal feeling is that is was ungentlemanly and not the sporting thing to do.

Might just be my old bar steward, Marquis of Queensbury rules personna though!

I'd side with that view aswell but Bielsa was right in saying it isn't anything new. And lets be honest something you should expect from Bielsa - the man who apparently has the largest documented football video library in the world.

Love Leeds, with a passionate hatred of course, first trip I discovered Chelsea had such a massive presence up north, standing in the ground I turned to my mate and said I think we're in the wrong end here, they've all git northern accents. Turns out they were as Chelsea as the rest of us, well maybe apart from the few Millwall that came up, just for the laugh of course. One of the biggest escorts I've been in. I have been up by car with just a few and seen scatters getting the carp beaten out if them heading back to their cars.

From the earliest days to the latest it's always been a bit fiery

I've been to the last couple of games between us, the one where they played their last premiership game and more recently when we beat them 1 - 5 in a cup game at their place. Not one of my videos but most of you may recognise, Dave only a pound Johnstone selling his Fanzines,Dave is also responsible for the tags in the Matthew Harding Lower that get unfurled and passed accross pre match. Sadly no more Fanzines apparently, we will see if he resists. Anyway, awesome night, we stayed over in Leeds and met up with some of there fans before and after the game, for beers, that's all.

Glad to have them back.

Around about the same season as that he had a huge turn out at Elland Road. It seemed we had most of the one side of the ground!

Good ole days never to be seen again!

I've not spoken to anyone yet who isn't happy Leeds are back. Whether it's the club or the appeal of Bielsa in the PL everyone's excited to it

1982-83 that was one of the best away turnouts by us ever. We had about 8 and a half thousand in the Lowfield Road stand. My Leeds mate admitted that that was the best turnout that he'd ever seen at Elland Road. Leeds had brought loads to us the previous October and been game and we wanted to remind them what we were all about.
