It is amusing that Wolves, while signing the letter requesting for City to be banned, have now themselves been found to have breached FFP.

But I don’t want us, as fans, to go down this route of criticising other clubs, because all that will happen is fans of those clubs will just respond by being critical towards City, regardless of the fact that City have cleared their name and had the ban overturned.

In other words, they will just use their own clubs wrong doing to continue to attack City. I don’t see any positive in that.

Personally, I don’t actually care that Wolves have breached FFP. And it appears fans of other clubs don’t really care about it either. Nor do Wolves fans themselves care if Cinci is anything to go by.

Eh? Not me in denial. Wolves have clearly cheated and bent the rules to establish themselves. You somehow think Man City didn't

Only thing we care about is whether it could impact transfer spending going forward given we are already not allowed to do what other clubs did to establish themselves.

The whole thing is farcical. These figures include our promotion year where we spent but obviously couldn't generate the same income as in the prem so next year it will be balanced as it is spread over three years.

But the real farce is that some clubs were able to cheat their way to the top, Man City and Chelsea to name two but now others are not allowed. Protecting the cartel.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only problem with this is that City didn't cheat. Nor did Chelsea.

Nor did Blackburn for that matter.

City's only crimes are that they dared to challenge the status quo and, refused to co-operate with an 'investigation' they knew to be flawed.

I love how FFP is suddenly a farce now it has been implemented properly.

I also admire your ability to rationalise the Wolves approach of spending beyond their means, in order to get to the Premier League, whilst simultaneously criticising City and Chelsea for spending money that was theirs to spend.

Irony doesn't even cover it. If by a man's words we know him, then you sir are a hypocrite.

Who is rationalising? We cheated. Point is that it is farcical that rules have been changed now to stop other clubs joining the big clubs. How in any world is that fair? We have the finances to do exactly what City and Chelsea did to get to the top but are not allowed to.

posted on 8/8/20

If any clubs owner has the money to invest in his club’s first team in order to improve his club, but isn’t allowed to do so, then it isn’t fair.

But you are being incredibly short sighted and ignorant of history by mentioning only City and Chelsea. Every big club throughout the world has done this prior to FFP being implemented. And prior to FFP it wasn’t seen as cheating, so the language you use is also flawed.

Chelsea went along with FFP, Mourinho was apparently a big fan after spending several £100m first.

As one of the Hateful 9, I'd say they are the worst hypocrites.

That's my point.

Those rules were brought in to stop clubs like City, yet you label them cheats without any basis on which to do so and whilst your club has followed the same model.

For the record, I don't consider Wolves to be cheats but their actions of late amount to nothing more than rank hypocrisy, given what we now know.

No, City and Chelsea did not cheat their way in.

Chelsea “got in” many years before FFP existed. City got in just before FFP was implemented.

You really need to get a grip. Yes, it’s unfair that Wolves aren’t allowed to spend money their owners can afford. I totally get that. That doesn’t make other clubs who were able to spend money (their owners could afford) before FFP existed cheats.

Because before FFP, an owner investing money into the team via transfers and wages, wasn’t cheating. Every club did it, and it was allowed.

Call it what you want. You got to the top through obscene amounts of spending through a billionaire coming into the club. It isn't allowed now and the fact it was then doesn't make it any less cheating your way to the top.

Then you've got the nerve to seemingly be annoyed that some clubs supposedly cheated (they did not), but only because you can't do it too haha.

Your club has far more nerve though, lobbying to try and get City some further punishment when they've been proven innocent and you lot guilty. Proper lowlife behaviour.
