I wanted us to sign a Left footed winger to add something different to the squad.

We already have Rash and Martial who drift to the left, and James who is better on the left. On the right we have nothing.

James has been massively underwhelming this season. There have been a few decent games, but all of them on the left. He has been consistently awful on the right.

Greenwood you've already described as too inexperienced to risk leaving the squad as one of two back-ups for CF. But it's not high risk having him as the first choice on the right?

No. It's very common for young forwards tonstartvout wide. He has had a cracking season and I'd be happy to see more of the same next season. He wouldnt get a look in if we signed Sancho.

We need exactly what all of us think... To improve our attacking squad members.

99.9% of people here think that the right side of attack is the weakest. You think otherwise.

But the thinking is still the same, we can't lose 2 key attacking players without looking much weaker.

Rashford - Ighalo - Sancho is a great front line.

Rashford - new striker - James gives me much less confidence

That's because he comes inside as he's a striker. He doesn't create from out wide. We need a play who can.

As you like hypotheticals.

Say we get a striker as our only attacking signing and then Greenwood gets injured, who would you play on the right? James?

If we signed Sancho (who can play either side)... we'd have

Left options - Rashers, Sancho, James, Martial
Center options - Martial, Greenwood, Rashers, Ighalo
Right options - Sancho, Greenwood, James, Mata

Seems far more balanced to me.
