Boli has been given a fixed penalty notice by Police Scotland for breaking quarantine rules.

Why was Celtics game v St. Johnstone postponed?

if track n trace is only needed following a positive test all players bar Boli will be fine?

if there is an issue why are Kilmarnock allowed to play?

Aberdeen has several positive tests and a local lockdown so their games being postponed makes sense.

Its yet another example of how the world has gone mad due to the "virus"
Great example last night of the madness, i went to my local Chippy for food where you are allowed into the shop if socially distanced ,but when it comes to collecting your meal they have a policy where they will not put your food in the carrier bag but they HAND the boxes to you (which they have already been handling while putting the food in!!)and you have to personally put the boxes in your carrier bag, i mean WTF???
The same Chippy does deliveries where they hand your food to you at the doorstep in you've guessed it carrier bags

Yeah. Wonder how far you'll be behind them by the time you next play

The punishment to Celtic will come from the SPFL.

The games have been cancelled as a matter of public health. Bolingoli tested negative now but the virus has an incubation period that stretches across the two postponed games. He could still test positive at the weekend.

The upcoming Killie game was a judgement call on the perceived level of risk.

surely any risk at all and the game should be postponed?

imagine they outcry if it isn't
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not really.

This whole situation is a risk management exercise.

There’s a risk opening pubs but they are open.

There’s a risk opening schools but they are opening tomorrow.

In this case the risk to Kilmarnock was deemed to be low enough for them to continue playing.

Cancelled because of a risk to public health? Whit?

ffs you’re joking right?

It’s a punishment. A warning shot if you like. Deservedly so but in no way on this God‘a little green earth is there a risk to public health beyond anything anyone faces right now.

Government intervention in leagues might be an issue. Rangers never tested any quunt and it was admitted but no quarantine imposed. Strange change of opinion there. Anyway...

To be fair “small” businesses are struggling to cope with the depth of legislation
Closure is around the corner for some for one error
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get that Zach its not the small businesses im getting at, its the ludicrous legislation that the lunatic politicians are throwing out there. My daughter is a school teacher and some of the nonsense that they are being forced into is quite simply off the scale. Its been said many many times over the years but the lunatics have now actually taken over the asylum

What? There’s nothing to take up. It’s a punishment and that’s it.

There is no more risk to anyone in this game catching this virus because of what that fwckwit Bolingoli did that of anyone catching it had he not been so utterly stupid and selfish.

Absolutely none and I’d love to hear him try and explain it. Then maybe people would finally see what stupidity we are being force fed by these “experts” and government.

We are in the low teens of deaths per day now with a great proportion of the economy open. We are killing more people because of our “cure”. Fwcking ridiculous.

Aye not sure postponing the game has had an effect

I don't quite understand it , is it a punishment ? Is it precaution?

Postponing Aberdeen's has certainly helped them , they will be delighted

I am sure you can listen to him back on the Clyde podcast if you would love to hear him explain it.

He states quite clearly postponing the game was not a punishment and it is up to the SPFL to dish out the punishments.

Celtic’s games were postponed because Bolingoli could still have Covid despite testing negative so far.

I am not saying I agree with him. Just passing on the official response I heard tonight to the question that was asked on here.

Don’t shoot the messenger n’at 👍

But he’s talking utter piish and anyone who believes that nonsense is as gullible as they come.

Simply another step towards dictatorship. There is absolutely no reason to postpone games. Ban Boli sure, but since the Killie players came into contact with him and they are free to play makes a mockery. Politicians exercising authority in a very worrying way.
