I find it quite funny, never quite understand the desperate need to go and sit by a pool for a week, but at the sane time do have some sympathy for them, well some of them anyway.
I have some sympathy for them, as travel was allowed. It is the big question of how long do we put our lives on hold - do we just wait forever or do we follow the government guidelines?
Personally, I wouldn't go as it is too much still up in the air. Haven't even been to a pub since re-opening because it seems too much of a shambles.
I have zero sympathy for people travelling to Europe. Absolutely ridiculous in the middle of a pandemic.
I get Health and key workers may need a holiday, but should just take one in the UK. Everybody else has had months off work, so don`t really need a holiday this year at all. I certainly don`t.
The way this Government acts, why would anybody book an expensive holiday anyway, knowing travel plans could change at an hours notice.

I haven’t had any time off work, but also don’t think it’s a particularly smart idea to be flying abroad on holiday either. Can sympathise with those who booked pre Covid and may lose money though, those that booked after, well....
Yes and no.
I do as they was allowed to go but at the same time you’re pretty stupid to go while a pandemic is happening.
I had my holiday in may cancelled but my other was going to go a head but I rescheduled which was lucky as the country got put on a ban while we would’ve been out there.
Let 'em stay in their caravans !
If people want to travel they should be able to go but they must accept the risk. If they do that and take the nessesery precautions while out there they should be able to go without getting shamed by the houllier than hou brigade.
If you do your research you shouldn't get into any trouble quatentine wise anyway, for example if you go for a week best place to chose would probably be Italy as their numbers would have to go spectacularly south very quickly for them to be placed on the quatentine list in the next week or two.

Yes I feel sorry for those that booked pre Covid, and cannot get a refund. But those that booked as soon as they were given the supposedly green light, then no sympathy whatsoever.
