quite clear Nuno still expects additions, plural.

Nuno's full quotes from E&S:

"He was not available for the game. We have a short squad and all the options are good, but him and Max Kilman were not available for this game. He wasn’t available, these are decisions we have to make. We have to prepare the squad, have to know what is the moment of the season.

"It was a big turnaround, we have to take care of the players, improve our squad and our team and he was not available for the game. These are our decisions to make."

"He was not on the squad list. There was no confusion. When a player is not in the squad list sometimes they see the match, if they are away, they stay at home. It’s because we have a bubble, we have to make a list, all those details. Nothing strange."

Longer version, so from that it is either disciplinary, Covid related(breaking the bubble etc) or transfer related it is fair to say.

doesn't sound good.
sounds like diogo was left out of the squad and threw a wobbly.

Embarrassing.

Its as though we don't give a damn about cups.

How did it go last night? I take it your new £35 million striker scored a hatful?

I think people are reading too much in to the Jota stuff. The way I read it is they're allowed so many in the bubble on match day and he wasn't required so had the option to go home.

On a brighter note, the new Portuguese inspired third kit looks the dogs. May even be tempted to purchase. Jota is in the promo video for the shirt by the way for all you conspiracy theorists.

No way Jota is left out on purpose unless he is injured Goldi. I suspect it was Covid related. Didn't he have a gender reveal thing or something and maybe had too many people around.

The Portuguese shirt looks good. Should be for the winter collection

The blue on is much more summery

The gold one is forever

Dion Sanderson not involved for the U23s again today. Likely to move on this summer, possibly even a permanent deal. Not in Nuno's plans

Some reports linking Wolves with the Barcelona right wing back Samedo. Seen him play for them on the box recently and he would be a fantastic signing

A shame we have a nice third kit which people might buy instead. I was looking forward to seeing 20 stone middle aged blokes wearing that away one to games.

Its clever marketing really. We had a Mexican inspired one last season to try and influence that market with Jimenez. We have a Portugal inspired one this year with a number of Portuguese players. Which way will we go next season though?

Wolves set to sign 18 year old Dutch defender Ki Jana Hoever from Liverpool for around £10m

posted on 18/9/20

He played against us in a cup game as a 16 years old. He looked extremely good for his age then, just seemed to fit right in.

U23s drew 2-2 at Leeds today after being 2 down at half time. Corbeanu and Cundle the scorers

Talking of kids England U21s will play three games at Molineux in October/November

scousers dont seem upset about it, general view is that he's too slow for a fullback and too slight for a centre back.

He did look quality in that game and highly regarded in top youngster lists.

That said we need game ready players not projects all the time, especially for the money we are outlaying.

And could be more business between the two clubs with #LFC interested in Wolves forward Diogo Jota. Lively few days.

Hoever has said that in the future he may well become a centre back but at the moment he enjoys playing as an attacking right back

In my opinion Jota is still easily our 2nd best attacker, why would we sell him, unless we're offered about £35m?

posted on 18/9/20

Would say Jota is worth around 25 million. Would rather we kept him, especially if every upgrade is going to be an unproven youngster though.

posted on 18/9/20

If these two deals do happen would it just be me thinking we have lost our minds?

We would be down Doc, Jonny and Jota and basically added Marcal as a definite immediate impact player.

posted on 18/9/20

agree cinci, but i never thought doc leaving would happen but it did

Au contraire. On Tim Spiers’ thread lots of Liverpuddle fans are singing his praises and saying we’ve got a good’n. The lad himself is honest and says he’s an attacking right back. Just what we need. Young, hungry, and Klopp rates him.

Get the right money for Jota and I would not be disappointed. He is not a natural goalscorer.
IMO.
