Let’s wait and see don. So far you could also say we have only signed an injury prone 31 year old and an unproven in the premier league full back
Nothing will mean anything until performances and results start going spurs way. Until then it’s no different to how it was after the Everton game. Huge squad issues to be sorted that have built up from years of either no or at best poor investment.
But at least there is a bit of optimism about now. It’s been a horrible year.

I think Levy backed himself into a corner appointing Jose. It was very much his appointment and if it goes wrong he will have nowhere to hide.
I think he hoped initially Jose could work some magic and get us back into top 4 with little investment but he has now realised the only way we're getting back there is by addressing the squad weaknesses and giving Jose what he wants.
I'm not complaining mind, would love a quality CB. That and a backup striker is all we're missing.

I think he’s in awe of Jose if I’m going to be honest mate. You can see it in the amazon documentary. I reckon Jose has come out and strongly suggested Spurs strengthen with player A,B, and C and Levy has finally complied with this instead of going for player F,G and H. He’s bringing in strong players that will potentially win us trophies. It had to be done.

I feel the same about it. Jose sent Levy few reports probably with blunt truth and I know Levy is a fan actually and the idea that he could be destroying the side might have awoken something in him
I was going to say something about Levy/Poch but this would derail this thread!
Levy realises that I think getting Jose and making this bold (no pun intended!) statement about "serial winner" and wanting to win a trophy, well he needs to back the manager and give the manager the players he needs to get the team to a level where it can handle a long season with depth in quality and game changers in the first team.
Have to be honest - never heard of either. Any good ?

Milik is a lot like Llorent and maybe slightly nimbler but a younger version of him.
Skriniar is like the last ditch tackle defender! He is tall and I am sure you have seen him as he is very unique in how he stands out. Also not afraid to go forward and defend in the opponent's half!

If we bring in a CB, CF and CM, spending some good money in the process, it probably means Levy has had a windfall of some description (Amazon money maybe) or he has decided now is a good time to buy and take advantage of cheaper deals for players that otherwise would cost more.
