If we bring in a CB, CF and CM, spending some good money in the process, it probably means Levy has had a windfall of some description (Amazon money maybe) or he has decided now is a good time to buy and take advantage of cheaper deals for players that otherwise would cost more. Never misses a trick old Darth.

This is a necessary rebuild. My best guess is that Levy believes that there is a lot of value in the market currently due to the financial pressures clubs are under - they need to reduce wage bills and bring funds in. Those teams who are not in the CL are under even more pressure - Benfica, so May have to sell prized assets at reduced prizes. I can imagine that this is the sort of market that Levy thrives in.
If Skriniar/Dias and Milik/Weghorst/half decent striker come in, then for my money we will have one of the top 3 squads in the league and should be pushing for the title. Top 4 would be an absolute minimum.
Another defender name to add to the mix is Diop. Jose was a fan at Utd.

It wouldn`t be to bad if you had Lo Celso and Ndombele there on a regular basis. Problem is you have one sicknote and one fella who never gets himself fit.
The thing for me that makes Skriniar different than most defenders is how two footed he is. Highly rated by Inter fans!

Early days yet but plenty of room improvement. Winks could do with stepping up too.
Lolpool, Man city, Chelsea, Leicester, and Utd have better midfield options than us.
Maybe even Wolves with Neves and Moutinho

The midfield can be average if were playing with attacking full backs, they just need to be hard working and functional, which they are.
Should N’dombele and Lo Celso play to their potential then it could be even better. Pre Thiago, Liverpool’s midfield was very effective without being very creative. They just worked hard, plugged gaps and put their bodies where it hurts.

Milik rumours are not very strong, especially as he apparently turned us down previously because he didn’t want to leave Italy.
The Skriniar rumours are far more plausible and has been endorsed by more reputable sources.
