Hudson-Odoi should go on loan to the Championship, well off where he needs to be. The wages he is on are obscene for his performance levels.
CHO does need a loan but I am in the camp we need him to stay as we lack width. Unless Lampard genuinely believes in Emerson as back up winger/utility player? It does sound slightly ridiculous but I don’t think Emerson is an awful footballer at all, I dunno. If it allowed for CHO to get 3000 minute season under his belt then perhaps best for everyone..?

Got to say Emerson put better performance the other night once he switch to the right wings position than Odoi did for entire game so tbh this could happen in future too, after all his position could be more safe then Odoi or Alonso of he play on right

In terms of raw talent, I think these two as well as James are our best academy prospects. For RLC and potentially CHO now, that has worked against them by staying with the squad instead of gaining the consistent match-experience they need on loan.

I think they were both unfortunate with their injuries. RLC especially - as he was one of our best players at the time. He just hasn’t got back to his high standards since then, although game time is a problem fir him now. He can’t expect to walk back into the team to gain fitness when we have so many other good players too. Plus, I do think Lampard’s system with high energy/high press works against RLC, who has a languid look about him - it makes him seem slow at times.
CHO doesn’t have that excuse. He is lightening quick, he just hasn’t made good decisions in the games he has been afforded. I hope mf is right, and he is going to be a huge star, but I am very much unconvinced to date. I think they could both do with game time, and time away from the harsh spotlight of Chelsea pressure. Maybe loans would do them both good.
