Dearie me Pittenweem is the best fish supper, after that Saucy Sue's in Port Glasgow and Delios in Burnside..

Pittenweem is very good, but Anstruther just edges it for me.

McLeans in Inverness, the best chippy is always in the roughest part of town.

Battered scallops. Unreal.

After the dancing Da Vinci’s on Argyl street was flooking mobbed with people wanting a chippy. It’s never something I could ever eat after a bevy, just made me want to whitey.

Oko or a noodle bar was always the meal of choice when pashed.

There was a cracking noodle bar opposite the Garage when I was younger on Sauchiehall St. 3 in the morning getting spicy noodles. The next day you knew all about it

That place was a riot, had a broom cupboard that doubled as a pisser.

Sure you used to be able to get a drink in Steak and cherry upstairs from there when you got some food, so everyone piled in for a bowls of soup and a bevy

Was better. It has went downhill big time.

I had a sombre experience in there last, i was in and some junkie came in with his wee girl and she was like Dad do you know what i would get if we had more than a pound. I found that incredibly sad.

Should have seen her face when i bought the last pound special though

Remember that place very well.

Chicken kebab is the choice of champions

Don’t think I’ll ever trust another restaurant again though after having food poisoning for two weeks 🤮

Fooking metrosexual - away and join Fan wi’ his tartare sauce.

My east coast roots make me crave a white pudding on occasion. As a massive piece of fortune my local chippy does them albeit to order. Romy’s at Hillfoot.

I remember being in there once about 2am after Garage once and Billy Boyd was in.

As you can imagine it wasn’t the most peaceful meal a Hobbit ever had.
