The polar ice caps will probably have melted 50 years from now so we'll be too busy worrying about the flooding.

"We're gonna need a bigger boat"

I worry about the state of the planet for my son's sake.

Earth can sustain a population maximum of 10M, it's said we'll reach that in around 20 years.

The ruling elite are banking on having more planets to colonise, it's greed and stupidity that's killing the one we live on just now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everything I’ve read suggests it’s not going to reach that figure (assuming you meant 10billion!) and there’s actually going to be a population shortage......

Yeah I meant 10Bn.

A population shortage..??
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, sounds mad doesn’t it? Something to do with a generational imbalance.

Okay. Is there fat in Coke sold in Scotland?
Plenty of carbs, sodium, and sugar in the original, but no fat. None notabit.

===========================

Wtf
You really think the ruling elite are looking for other planets to colonise? How they gonne get there? Apart from Mars the nearest planets are light years away and we don’t have the technology to know if they are habitable. I hope you’re joking?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not at all.
There's serious money being invested in space travel and colonisation. USA going back to the Moon in 2024, India and China with probes on the Moon and a proposed manned flight to Mars in a few years.

They've recently found three massive underground lakes on Mars, which makes things a whole lot easier.

I didn't mean the ruling elite are going to escape Earth right now.

The Human Race ain't safe until we can send some of our species to another planet.

There’s a super enzyme that can break plastic bottles down to their original state in a matter of days, as opposed to sticking them in the ground for hundreds of years.

All is not lost.
